Honestly, the customer service here is so awful. I'd really hate to leave such a low rating for a small business during the hard times of the pandemic, but I just don't think Cardello wants any business.I was looking for replacement shades for a chandelier. When we called to ask if they had any, they told us they have a lot of options and could even order something if they didn't have it in stock at the store. Great! So when we came in to see their selection, we asked an older gentleman where they were. Ha, he said they had too many to show us. What? Ok, could you direct us to where they are? Nope, you're better off going online. This man had absolutely no interest in helping. Not to mention, his mask wasn't covering his nose.Completely frustrated by that exchange, I immediately turned around and left the store. If you don't want my business then you're not getting it, sorry.

BEWARE of CARDELLO's HIDDEN RESTOCKING FEE. They ripped me for $150. We ordered a 8 inch pendant lighting on Friday. On Monday, when I called them to change the order to 5 inch they said their store is closed and so i told them to keep on hold before the pendant is shipped.On Tuesday we stopped at their store, since they were busy with their customers they told us to come next day. While we were driving on the road they called us back . When we reached the store strange, the customer service couldn't find the order. We had to wait several hours to get an answer. After a while she found the order under payment section. The customer service didn't even know her job.. Most horrible customer service.. We almost wasted 1hour 30 minutes. They told us the pendant light is already shipped but never mentioned about $150 restocking fee.Next day when my husband went to return the unopened box they charged him $150 for restocking fee. What the heck is restocking fee? Why is this not disclosed to customers before purchasing? Is this the way to rip off customers during pendamic time? Why is this company's policy not checked by authorities.My question to CONSUMER REPORT - WHY. ARE THESE COMPANIES ALLOWED TO RIP OFF CUSTOMERS? IS THERE ANY LAWS TO PROTECT CUTOMERS? DO I NEED TO GO TO COURT TO GET MY HARD EARNED $150 BACK. I am not going to keep quiet. This horrible ripping company needs to be boardcasted in every site. It is a warning for every customer before they make any purchases from this kind of rip off company during pendamic time.

We went to the Cranberry location to find a ceiling fan for our dining room. Barb took such great care of us and took the extra time to help us find a custom fit for our space. She showed us many options while keeping in mind we needed something more budget friendly. I would highly recommend patronizing Cardellos. The customer service we were shown is something you just won’t get going to any of the retail giants like Lowe’s or Home Depot. Thank you again Barb!

I don’t even believe they even deserve a one star first off!! We purchased all of our lights from this place when we bought our new house. The one bedroom ceiling fan light quit working after a few months. Called the store and Cathy told us we needed an electrician to verify it was indeed not working. Paid him to come out. Waited over 2 months to get it fixed only to have the guys cardellos sent tell me they don’t have the right part to fix it! I said why didn’t they get us a whole new light fixture. They stated they usually don’t do that. I am beyond furious and have got nothing but run around from this place since the initial phone call back on April 5. The customer service sucks and for the prices you pay here you should expect more than what we’ve have received! I will not be back to this place and will never recommend them

My husband and I went in this afternoon. We were barely greeted by a woman who glanced up from her computer and said "hi." We proceeded to look at ceiling fans, which are located directly above the sales desk. There were 3+ employees helping on other couple. We were not asked if we needed assistance, or if we had any questions, etc. honestly, we just have to maneuver around the employees talking with the other customers because they were standing below the items we came to look at. I saw several things that I was interested in, but since the staff couldn't be bothered, we left. I'll never go back. Absolutely terrible customer service. Would have given 0 stars if it were an option.
