If you need medication or need to call and ask a pharmacy question look elsewhere. I’ve literally been on hold for upwards of 45 minutes. The one person that works there lies, yells at you, doesn’t know what they are doing AT ALL. Go to CVS in Old Forge if you can.. Even though it’s much further for me, i’d gladly drive further to be treated with respect and compassion. Old Forge even found discount cards on meds that i’d been on for years…CVS in Carbondale NEVER brought it up. Trust me, they are the WORST! To the Carbondale Pennsylvania, CVS, DO BETTER!

Most inept pharmacy staff in the Carbondale, PA area. Each employee behind that counter is dumber and more unwilling to help anyone than the person before them.pharmacists are abismally lazy, techs have ZERO clue as to how their own industry works.
Prescriptions are constantly bumbled and take forever to get done.
Somehow the mental midgets that work there are never wrong, but when the issue is pointed out in their error, you still don’t get helped with any urgency, or consideration that they were, and usually are, in their own error from either laziness, ignorance, or incompetence…..
I’m guessing it’s the latter…
Please go elsewhere….no one behind that counter should continue to steal money from cvs as an employee. They are truly worthless.

This is by far the worst pharmacy on the planet to deal with. Issues every single time we need to fill prescriptions. And the nastiest woman on the planet working the drive thru window. Was told yet again the script would be ready in an hour and a half, try to pick it up 3 & 1/2 hours later and oh, it’s not ready yet??????

I love shopping at this CVS cause they have nice employees there. And their merchandise is always in its place. And the store is always clean.

CVS continues to fill my prescriptions on its own. I have turned off Auto=Fill online and have spoken with the store manager in the past. I don't want prescriptions filled unless I ask them to be filled. Just because my scripts do not cost me a copay does not mean CVS can continue to fill my scripts as they please. THIS MUST STOP!!!!! The only reason why I continue to use CVS instead of Rite Aid is because these two are the only pharmacies within 15 miles. Also, Rite Aid website malfunctions too much for me to deal with. It totally agrevates me that CVS fills my scripts without me asking!! You are pushing medication on me that is not wanted. You figure that since I don't have to pay for it that it gives you the right to just fill them to make more sales. It is marketing like this that causes healthcare costs to go up. Most people will just take their meds home and then realize that scripts were filled that they are not ready for or no longer want but CVS gets to charge insurance companies for this practice. I have already started to research how I can make a formal complaint to Federal Entity about your practices of auto filling scripts even when the customer has requested that you don't over and over again!!

The CVS on Brooklyn St. Is ok as long as you don't need a prescription filled. The people in the pharmacy are rude, disrespectful, and simply awful. Forget talking to a manager they allow it to happen. If you try the home office they do NOTHING. I do not recommend using this pharmacy at all. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Don't recommend this pharmacy. Rude, disrespectful. Take forever. They need to train their employees better.

Being I lost my job as a pharmacy tech, underwent a total knee replacement revision and am not able to drive yet, had to get a new insurance and call to get everything changed being this cvs is close to home and delivers, talk about rude customer service and making a patient feel like an a$$ and like they're d*** and looked down upon. Working in a pharmacy for almost 7 yrs we NEVER LOOKED DOWN ON ANYONE that came into the pharmacy nor judged them for any reason. NO pharmacy should do that to their patients. If it happens again I will find another pharmacy to give my business to

I just had an encounter with the Drug Dept at the Carbondale CVS. She was very snotty and condescending and talked over me, then she accused me of yelling at her and threatened to hang up. I worked in CS for 30 years and I was taught the customer is always right this kind of treatment would never happen, where I worked. This employee is not a good representative of your Co and will drive customers away, and with the Covid-19 problem you stand to loose customers, one will be me, I will no longer get my prescriptions thru your store, I will deal with the online pharmacy, nor will I frequent your store. This is not the first time I've been unhappy with the service there. Barbara Stackhouse

I went to pick up my prescription with my new insurance card. Well the card didn't work they made me feel like I was trying to pull a fast one over on them. They never told me that the card did not go through they brought my prescriptions to the counter as if everything was OK until they told me the price which I asked with the insurance that's when they had to say the card didn't go through. They were going to let me pay over $100 for my prescriptions if I Didn't ask with the insurance card? Then the pharmacist seemed annoyed when asked to find out what the issue was she gave me a Number that I had to call for a case manager never heard of such a thing. So when I got home I called the insurance company and explain what the pharmacist said they were appalled that I was told I needed a case manager they Didn't even know what The pharmacist was talking about. To say the least I left the drugstore without my prescriptions. Not a happy customer after many many years which CVS the people they have at the pharmacy in Carbondale pa.. are uncompassionate non-caring and not happy employees. They seem to have a very bad attitude and look down on the customers I will be transferring my prescriptions very soon to a nearby pharmacy.. Marlene K.
