This review is for local Carbondale delivery persons- NOT the inside the P.O. itself-- those workers are always great (and I'd give them 5 stars). The delivery people however-- I have to wonder about their literacy rate....ive been in this town for a couple years (give or take), and ANY time I'm expecting a parcel, I have to worry, as packages CONSTANTLY get delivered to the wrong house on this street. CONSTANTLY! I've already complained in the past, but it STILL happens. ALL the houses around me get MY packages, and vice versa, ALL the time. Today while delivering my next-door neighbor's (who gets boxes EVERY day compared to me). He stopped in front of THEIR house, and then STILL walked it over to MY porch! What is wrong w/ the carrier(s) in this town?? I see this has been a complaint/problem here for YEARS by the look of the reviews here. The p.o. (as a business entity overall) has enough failure, bad service, and $ inflation that has stubbornly persisted for years. So At LEAST give the packages to the right people! Be on alert people...your mail carrier cannot read well in this town....

I went today to get passports for two adults and three children. The staff was amazing—so patient and helpful. Jane made the entire process smooth and effortless! We were in and out in 30 minutes!

We keep having problems with them not delivering our packages. They need a key to get into our building we gave them two and still they do not deliver.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!I live in an apartment comlpex I ordered clothes from aeropostale and the website said it was coming so I kept checking to see if it came the last time I checked to see if it was outside my door the mailman was walking up the hall and knocked on someone's door and gave them 2 packages I asked if he had a package for my apartment and he said if you have mail it will be in your mailbox so I looked and sure enough it was my package at my neighbors apartment and IT WAS OPENED! I told him that he gave them my package and asked why he opened it and he said oh I thought it was their's and I didn't open it Amazon opened it before they sent it out and I said that's funny because I didn't order from Amazon! I ordered from aero and I said I will be calling the post office he said he didn't care and to go ahead so I did and the post office did NOTHING! And said the mailman already called him and said that he brought the package to the wrong door

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I have been suffering with a food shortage because of my financial issues, so a friend of mine sent some food from another place to my place that took about nearly a week. It was sent in July 13th. It's now July 25th. It was supposed to take 5 days. I wasn't here when they tried to deliver it to me, so they just left a slip to schedule a redelivery......Scheduled it on the same exact day I got it, to make it to where it comes in on the 19th. No response.Tried contacting customer service, said that they would 'investigate it'. Wait 3 days later, they still didn't even contact me back.I want to curse on here badly, because I've been STARVING and needing to either order DoorDash or Instacart JUST to have food. JUST TO HAVE FOOD!!!! I WANT MY FOOD, YOU CAN'T KEEP IT FROM ME!!!

When going into the post office to ship or purchase postal supplies I have no complaints. But when waiting on packages or packages that don't arrive when Shipping says other according to tracking number it's a disaster. You get zero straight answers.

I was to get a package 5202021, they took it next door they told the guy it was the mobile home behind her. Well the guy never delivered the package to my home. So who knows who has it. 70$ lost. Now today I got someone else package of course I walked it over to them. I knocked on doors nobody seems to have my package.The post office really needs to READ house No# they are there for a reason.

I have lived at my address for 2 years my name is on the mailbox as per requested so that they know who's mail goes in there and who's does not. Same mailman for 2 years. Same one that requested me put my name up there. Has been leaving other people's mail in my mailbox everyday. Did he forget or is he just that lazy?
