“Picked up my taxes, when I got home I noticed the federal was wrong. Called and took it back and they fixed it. They also said there was a larger than normal refund due on the state tax. They didn't add the 1099 totals as income. I told them I thought it was wrong, the tax preparer assured me it was correct. I got a letter from the state and guess what the tax preparer was wrong. The state adjusted my return and refunded the smaller correct amount. This was my first time going with Cohicks as my tax preparer I used before retired. They charged over double what I paid the previous year and everything was wrong and had to be fixed. I will never use them again or recommend them.
