Love it here. Great wine selection. Cashiers always friendly and attentive. There's a lot of elderly that shop here, so that's important.

Today while reaching up for a package of cheese on the top shelf my pen slipped from my hand and disappeared through the slotted area on the bottom shelf. Not just any pen...a special gift from my daughter. I was upset but Tyler, the young man working in the area, said he could retrieve it. Not a simple task...he needed to get a cart to hold all the cheeses he needed to remove from the case. It took a while but he was so kind and pleasant...said he was happy to help. I just want to recognize Tyler as a very helpful and kind employee.

The self-checkout here makes me so frustrated that I want to actually self-checkout. Nearly every other item queues you for assistance and the worker is scrambling to reset scales constantly, so you have to wait before you can scan anything else; and the 2 registers operated by humans have a line a mile long. If Giant would pay a living wage it would be a much more pleasant experience.

I normally give giant 5 stars. Today I bought a lb of chipped ham from the deli. 12.99/lb. I picked it up and it was priced over a dollar more than 12.99. Since it was chipped, there's simply no excuse for that. It's predatory, giant. I ordered a pound. I tried to address this in store with the customer service department and stood there. for 10 minutes, ignored by every employee walking by. Except one poor kid who stopped to tell me that he would help me, but he is not allowed to. Thos whole visit was just sub-par compared to my normal giant experience

This store would be a lot better if I could actually ever access it during the day. They have so few disability parking spots (especially on the pharmacy side of all things) that I have only once been able to grocery shop during the day. I've been forced to routinely go out at night when I cannot see as well as they fail to provide adequate parking during daytime hours. The manager did inform me of their pickup service. When I looked it up on my own, I saw there was a $3 fee. I guess my phone thought I was actively in the parking lot of a different Giant and showed me their fees instead because unlike that incorrect location, this Carlisle location thankfully doesn't have fees for pickup. Unfortunately I did not find that error until later. However, this does pose the additional problem of not being able to personally pick proper substitutes myself, having to plan far ahead or wait multiple hours for an available pickup slot, and not all merchandise being on the app. For example, they sell Diana's frozen chocolate covered bananas, but you'd only know that by physically going to the store yourself because the app says they don't have them.Besides that, they do have a very large Asian food section compared to other Giant locations which is really nice. Employees have been kind when I've interacted with them.I just wish I could actually go there without the constant fear that I won't be able to park and will have to just go back home.

Things are expensive unless they're on sale.Update after store's comment: Coupons are a waste of everyone's time. Either lower prices, put stuff on sale, or don't, but coupons? I don't have time to play that game anymore. It would be great if we could get decent food at decent prices. Some of the stuff at your store is literally double what it is elsewhere for the exact same thing. And forget about things like vitamins, organic foods, and no sugar added items. The prices are really out there for that stuff. This week vitamins were on sale BOGO and still the pill count for Calcium and Vit D3 was less pills for more money than your competition has them (not on sale). I shouldn't have to depend on coupons to buy stuff at slightly higher than normal prices. Bizarre. I'm going to always encourage my family to check out elsewhere before Giant from now on.

Offering a variety of products. Food is freshly made in the store. You can opt-in for frictionless checkout by using their scan as you put your items in the cart. Quick and easy to use and swift check out.

Plenty of parking, and a gas station. Excited, there is a Starbucks and a Chinese restaurant inside. Also important information, they have electric car charging ports! I probably would have rented an electric vehicle if I knew. But the store seems to have a little bit of everything! I wish we had one on the West Coast.

Giant is our favorite grocery store. I know where everything is, there's often clearance stuff in a frozen aisle, and the people who work here seem to enjoy their job. Tonight we got sushi Wednesday, an excellent deal the fresh sushi bar inside of Giant has been offering for a couple years now. The gentleman working asked if I needed anything, to which I replied a philadelphia roll, please! There weren't any made so it was very nice to get my favorite roll. Give that man a raise! There is also a takeaway spot near the sushi, sandwich, salad and soda combos, ready to bake dinner options (all of which I've tried and are amazing!) and a fresh salad bar. The salad bar has veggies, fruit, lentils, pasta, cheeses, dressings, and hardboiled eggs. I love to let my young son pick out what veggies he will want on his salad. The bakery has donuts, rolls, bagels, muffins, any type of bread you could want, and philly pretzels. There are cookies, cakes, cookie cakes, cupcakes, pies, mousses, Asher's candies, whoopie pies and pumpkin rolls seasonally. I have to use restraint in the bakery because everything looks 100% amazing, and it usually is. Some of the self-checkout registers are finicky, but the kind woman with glasses is always standing by ready to help. I've also needed to return less than fresh foods to customer service, and I'm never judged for it. The employees work hard to make this place super great. Thanks Giant!
