What do you when you're extremely tired from a 12 hr foot race? Follow your friend who attended that exact race event as you into the Home Depot hours afterward. It was cool that this Home Depot was close enough to my hotel - the Sleep Inn, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. There wasn't a whole lot going on within walking distance and the 7-Eleven convenience store was not 100% functional yet, at the time of my experience here - Memorial Day weekend 2023. And with that, I ventured here to Home Depot with my friend at around 7:30pm without a proper dinner. My friend wanted to grab cash from her debit card. I didn't realize Home Depot did that, but I knew grocery stores did. It's pretty cool to know, but I usually carry credit cards anyway. With that in mind, I decided to purchase a couple of soda drinks to kill time while my friend withdraws money from her debit card. The store itself seemed empty, especially on a Saturday evening randomly in May 2023. There was basically really no customers that I could see shopping. Just a couple of staffers and my friend and I at the front of the store where the check out registers were. All seemed quiet since you know Saturday evening in central Pennsylvania. My experience took about 15 minutes at this Home Depot location. The service was good and friendly. I got to enjoy the rest of the evening watching tv with knowing that I don't have to run a foot race the next day and enjoying my drinks purchased from Home Depot. The overall experience here at this Central Pennsylvania location was fairly good and fast. Friendly and quite satisfactory since my friend need to get cash from her debt card that evening and I just happened to tag along. For the most part, though, it was a pleasant and pleasing experience to be here, even though it was really weird to be at a Home Depot during my travels anyway. But it was cool though, because I got to buy some drinks to try on my vacation after doing the 12 hour running events in Central PA nearby. Home Depot is basically a hardware superstore, as many of you know. It's basically for any job you have around the house or apartment, or commercial space building whatever. Home Depot is your one stop shop, usually for anything hardware or home related dealings. For me, though, it was just a place to buy soda pop for my own benefit and pleasure. So, if you're in the area and need cold drinks, consider stopping here at this Home Depot location in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Even if you're passing through, it's always a worthwhile stop. This Home Depot location is physically located at 1235 Main Street in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, basically next to the Sleep Inn hotel. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have The most generous parking lot options available for most people's needs, so you can actually grab a spot at the entrance if you don't want to walk too far from your car. Plenty of space for everyone. If you rely on public transportation, not sure if there is one honestly. Best to check with the regional transportation authority and see if there is one in Harrisburg and in Carlisle. Best to rent a car or have your own for convenience, to be honest. However you get here for your home improvement needs or just grabbing money like an ATM from a debit card, like my friend did, Home Depot has a lot of the stuff you need. The price for soda and other drinks are pretty good and probably the only thing in walking distance, if you don't have a car and don't want to spend on an Uber. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the service and being open when we needed it to be. 5.0 stars for location. 3.0 stars for the prices. Support local! B

STOP ASKING ME IF I NEED HELP!!! I am a contractor and spend a lot of money at Lowes and Home Depot. I use the app and know where to find almost everything. If I need help I will ask you. I love the Home Depot store but I'm starting to avoid it at almost any cost. I encourage all your employees to visit Lowe's and take a few notes. I started wearing my earbuds so maybe they will leave me shop in peace, but no they will literally tap my shoulder while I'm minding my business. It's a problem when I'm half way down the isle and someone from the end of the isle yells asking if I need help. Why is it ok for you to interrupt my conversation with my worker repeatedly asking if I need help until I finally turn around and address you. And no I do not need help checking out at a SELF CHECKOUT when I only have 2 small hand tools to buy. It's a SELF CHECKOUT!

We are remodeling a house and had tried getting cabinets through Lowes. We stopped at Lowes and had the sense that we were an inconvenience--and they kept putting us off. So, we drove down the road to Home Depot. Shaun--who works in kitchens--was AMAZING. We had cabinets and countertops picked out in just two hours. (Lowes wanted to schedule us out two weeks just to double-check the measurements we already had from our contractor.) Absolutely, 100%, recommend Home Depot's kitchen department--courteous, professional, and such a pleasure to deal with.

You do not support your advertising. My husband, who is a frequent customer, stopped by today to buy 6 buckets of driveway sealer. The sign by the sealer was clearly marked $15.47 per bucket. They charged him $26.83 per bucket. It took three employees to go stare at the sign and declare that it was a mistake and you would not refund the difference. You should honor your advertisement as every other store should. I will be contacting BBB.

Has to be the worst customer service come here for some simple things of course they would be up in the racks. Watch employees walk all around don’t ask if you need help. Go ask for help guy named Tyler said I’ll be over 45 minutes later nope. Had to get someone else who didn’t really want to work either to get the stuff down. Will go to Lowe’s or order on Amazon next time.

Home Depot has attempted to make things right by giving us a 750 dollar gift card to buy a new dishwasher. While this isn't ideal it's still better then them just not trying. Overall we are happier with Home Depot then we were before, it's just frustrating because it took almost a week to get this resolved. Glad to they did the right thing.

Just was there today few minutes ago and someone stole some of the items I bought in the store, unfortunately I forgot the bag of merchandise in the cart while I took it to the cart station and hurriedly went to pick up my online purchase. I remembered the bag while I was picking up my online purchase. I went back to the cart station but the carts that were there were empty. I went inside and asked if there was anything returned and found but no one admitted there was any including the lady that was taking carts out of the stations. So I had to re purchase the ones stolen obviously

Let me start off by saying, I , normally, love The Home Depot. this was a fact until I went to the Carlisle location. The service is horrible, the staff is rude and I will never step foot in there again! The corporation is great, Hanover location is great but Carlisle was the worst experience I have ever had with The Home Depot. I spent a large amount of money with them and had a horrible experience.

Besides missed appliance delivery date, no communication that delivery was canceled, rescheduling to following Monday by Home Depot without contacting us... I was told by a manager that we will not be getting a rescheduling until approximately one month after appliance was bought. So we are now stuck over the Christmas Holiday's with a broken refrigerator ( the reason we bought one to begin with). After talking to a manager again... he matter-of-factly told me that's the way it is, because Home Depot contracts third party to deliver. Well... I made a contract with Home Depot for said delivery service, not a third party... and still no reassurance that I'll receive appliance at the end of the month.
