Hours: Based on the reviews, Mid-Atlantic Reptile Expo is an awesome show with a vast array of creatures from all parts of the world. The overall atmosphere is cool, and the coolness factor is definitely there. Visitors can see and buy so many options for a new pet, including snakes, lizards, spiders, turtles, tortoises, axolotls, and more. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering questions and helping pick out the right reptile. The favorite part for many is getting to hold the reptiles and scorpions. It is a very close community of like-minded folks. However, the atmosphere needs to be hot and humid for the critters, which can make it slightly uncomfortable. There are 0 refreshments, and the smell can be a bit overwhelming. It is worth the admission, and kids really enjoy themselves. The Expo is a yearly event that is definitely one not to miss.
