Horrible experience!
Went there to get an inspection done and the guy came out (I think his name was Matt) and sat down and immediately brought assumptions onto us saying we reset a light or unplugged a battery. We didn’t even know what he was talking about. We tried explaining that the engine light has been going off and on for a few months now. We changed the struts in the car and the engine light went off for some odd reason we just never thought anything of it and a month after that we brought it into Midas. Whatever code would be in there would be a code for a catalytic converter, we knew that much from another mechanic but the mechanic put cleaning through it and that’s why it’s been going off an on. Anyways horrible experience from Midas for being rude and questioning us like an interrogation room. We had no choice but to fail inspection emissions and and try to get a new catalytic converter put in and this is where the price gouging comes in! Midas wanted 1400$ to put in a new catalytic converter. So we went to another mechanic recommended to us by a friend who said the cat is gonna cost us about 400 and with labor it’ll be about 600 something. All OEM parts too! Went onto the website and saw the same brand new cat for 400$ OEM. Midas, you have now lost 5 customers in the family. Thanks for the horrible service. I will definitely put a report in on the website too.

Passing through from out of state and had a big vibration/wobble in the steering wheel from an unbalanced wheel. I called ahead and told them my issue, and they said come on by even though they were extremely busy. They fit us in and balanced the wheels, and we were back on the road in well under an hour. Extremely professional and helpful! Thank you all so much.

I can't say enough good things about this auto repair shop. I believe it is mostly because of the manager, Matt. Matt works his tail off and deals fairly and calmly with customers. He also leads his team well and has hired other excellent employees. I only wish there were more like him, his employees and this business. They also have the best prices anywhere.

Great group of Mechanics at the Carlisle Midas. Very transparent about what is going on.
I had an unscheduled encounter with a piece of wood that fell off a RV which destroyed my radiator and AC condenser. With no Hesitation I brought it into Midas and they had the repairs completed in 3 days.
I most likely dropped my car off at a decent time to allow that turn around on a not so simple repair... but they came through at a reasonable cost.
I use them for all my inspection and emission sticker needs. They never pushed for me to get extra services performed like bulk oil replacement shops.
My only wish is they had a larger parking lot because they are always packed. Which even if they get a larger lot,1 I bet it would still be packed.
