This store don’t even deserve 1 star. I went in last night to get my son a couple fish for his fish tank, the one female employee was helping us and when I told her I wanted to get one of the fish she asked if she could come back in a minute I said yes no problem. She brought back another female employee that was very disrespectful and sarcastic proceeding to tell me that I needed to buy a 40 gallon tank for that one fish so my mom said the fish could go to her house where she has a 55 gallon tank and the girl said she could decline us from buying a fish. Fast forward we started looking at the little tiny goldfish that I was going to get 3 of for our 10 gallon tank and they told me they could not allow us to get three of them. Meanwhile I’m looking at probably 200 goldfish in a little tank with multiple dead ones on the bottom and the male employee that came back due to all the ruckus proceeded to tell me there in there like that because there considered feeder fish so I asked if there considered feeder fish why am I being told I cannot buy the ones I want for my sons fish tank and he said how many did you want I said 3 and he said oh no not in a 10 gallon tank I said but you have no problem allowing over 100 in there to just die. This store will NEVER get another cent of my earnings. I will NEVER recommend anyone to go there. The amount of disrespect there employees show is sad. What’s even worse is when your three year old son looks at you when the second female employee was rudely speaking to us and said mommy she’s not very nice and I said no she’s being very ignorant and she laughs in our face and said I’m being ignorant haha no this is my normal voice right laughing to the other employee. We DID get fish for our fish tank but not from them and I will never return to there store again!

Wow took my pet for grooming and the grooming staff not only was unfriendly and the results of the grooming were not what I asked for, choppy and unprofessional work.

My sister and I went to get a couple goldfish for our tanks at home. The employee working assumed since we were younger we didn’t know how to properly take care of fish. She kept belittling us then continued to tell us we could not have the fish we asked for. Asking questions to make sure the fish go to a good home is reasonable, but denying us to get a fish and criticizing us based on our ages was a little too far. I don’t believe I’ll go to that location again after that.

I do love this PetSmart! Clean, nice staff willing to help. I know it can seem a little expensive but I like getting the best for my pup and I love spoiling him! Plus I like that pets are always welcome!

The Mechanicsburg PetSmart does not honor sale prices as tagged on store shelves. Tried to buy two flats of Whole Earth farms canned dog food marked at 97 cents per can but once taken to register the price was refused by the store manager saying the product was marked wrong even though the information on the sticker matched the said product. The Carlise store had the same and honored the sale price.

I took my dog in for bath/brush/nail trim. I'd had her there before for just a nail trim, and there was no problem. This time, when I picked her up, she acted absolutely traumatized. When we got home, she was cowering in the back of the car, and it was a whole issue just getting her out. She was very skittish the whole rest of the day.

Ok for starters these dumb ho ho ho's In the fish section (which I bet they smell like) wouldn't let me buy a goldfish because I didn't have a turtle farm, so I got a little angry in the parking lot and yelled save the turtles at her and she proceeded to flip me the bird, and so as I rolled out of their mediocre parking lot I gave her a double flipping bird. And that's all I have to say about my experiences at PetSmart
