What do you when you're extremely tired from a 12 hr foot race? Follow your friend who attended that exact race event as you into the Home Depot hours afterward. It was cool that this Home Depot was close enough to my hotel - the Sleep Inn, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. There wasn't a whole lot going on within walking distance and the 7-Eleven convenience store was not 100% functional yet, at the time of my experience here - Memorial Day weekend 2023. And with that, I ventured here to Home Depot with my friend at around 7:30pm without a proper dinner. My friend wanted to grab cash from her debit card. I didn't realize Home Depot did that, but I knew grocery stores did. It's pretty cool to know, but I usually carry credit cards anyway. With that in mind, I decided to purchase a couple of soda drinks to kill time while my friend withdraws money from her debit card. The store itself seemed empty, especially on a Saturday evening randomly in May 2023. There was basically really no customers that I could see shopping. Just a couple of staffers and my friend and I at the front of the store where the check out registers were. All seemed quiet since you know Saturday evening in central Pennsylvania. My experience took about 15 minutes at this Home Depot location. The service was good and friendly. I got to enjoy the rest of the evening watching tv with knowing that I don't have to run a foot race the next day and enjoying my drinks purchased from Home Depot. The overall experience here at this Central Pennsylvania location was fairly good and fast. Friendly and quite satisfactory since my friend need to get cash from her debt card that evening and I just happened to tag along. For the most part, though, it was a pleasant and pleasing experience to be here, even though it was really weird to be at a Home Depot during my travels anyway. But it was cool though, because I got to buy some drinks to try on my vacation after doing the 12 hour running events in Central PA nearby. Home Depot is basically a hardware superstore, as many of you know. It's basically for any job you have around the house or apartment, or commercial space building whatever. Home Depot is your one stop shop, usually for anything hardware or home related dealings. For me, though, it was just a place to buy soda pop for my own benefit and pleasure. So, if you're in the area and need cold drinks, consider stopping here at this Home Depot location in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Even if you're passing through, it's always a worthwhile stop. This Home Depot location is physically located at 1235 Main Street in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, basically next to the Sleep Inn hotel. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have The most generous parking lot options available for most people's needs, so you can actually grab a spot at the entrance if you don't want to walk too far from your car. Plenty of space for everyone. If you rely on public transportation, not sure if there is one honestly. Best to check with the regional transportation authority and see if there is one in Harrisburg and in Carlisle. Best to rent a car or have your own for convenience, to be honest. However you get here for your home improvement needs or just grabbing money like an ATM from a debit card, like my friend did, Home Depot has a lot of the stuff you need. The price for soda and other drinks are pretty good and probably the only thing in walking distance, if you don't have a car and don't want to spend on an Uber. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the service and being open when we needed it to be. 5.0 stars for location. 3.0 stars for the prices. Support local! B

Home Depot has attempted to make things right by giving us a 750 dollar gift card to buy a new dishwasher. While this isn't ideal it's still better then them just not trying. Overall we are happier with Home Depot then we were before, it's just frustrating because it took almost a week to get this resolved. Glad to they did the right thing.

It's a Home Depot what more can I say, this particular store is a-ok. Has what you need generally when you need it but could improve on customer service. Kids Workshop is always busy b/c this is the only one around for miles, but as long as you reserve your spots you should be good. I will say there is one employee in the garden section that actually has a clue and is always willing to help! She is an older lady and knows more than most, so if you have questions in that department she's a go to. Otherwise, it's the big orange box store you have come to know.

The reason I gave it two stars is that the front employees where very nice, but as far as that, we had to ask three people where the pins were to attach a lawn mower to a cart. They told us three different locations that were each wrong (we did look through your the lanes) and also never bothered to show us/ walk us. We never found it.

Tried to charge me for 18' 1" of shoe mold and it's sold and manufactured by the foot. Tried to discuss with the assistant manager Mike and he was a waste of my time. Totally incompetent. Now I'm waiting for his bosses contact information. The front lines here (Jen) need trained on how to work with customers. Wish I could give a negative review!

This Home Depot location has been a wonderful support in our home owning experience in Carlisle. Located right off of I-81, it's easy to access, which was great as we had to make several trips in one day when working on projects at our place over the past few years. The staff is amazing - we've received professional advice about painting, plumbing, insulation, and deck building (to name a few areas) and we've never walked out feeling like our staff member didn't know what they were talking about. The deals are great if you watch for them and the staff is always open about whether or not it's a good time to buy something or not. We just spoke with someone here about washers and dryers and were encouraged to wait until he next sale, as prices had just gone up in the last week as holiday sales expired. If you need help with a project, don't be afraid to ask! These folks are helpful and knowledgable! Home Depot is a great resource for those of us who don't have a handy friend around when we have a project to do!

Late in the season I was pleased to still find a good assortment of gas grills. Better still was the low pricing as compared to other nearby stores. The best was customer service. Granted it was a quiet Tuesday night, but Star (the associate who helped me) was great! From being quick to help, to her assistance loading it in my car, she deserves a shout-out.
