I specifically booked your hotel because it came with a kitchen. I travel with my two teenage children who have severe food allergies. We traveled 700 miles, and I specifically chose your hotel because of the amenities and the proximity to our destination. Upon arrival, we had already purchased our groceries. After check-in, we were told that there was not any kitchen appliances, utensils, cups, plates, or equipment for us to use - not even a coffee pot or a single cup. When I requested one additional blanket, I was told there were none to be had. So, our refrigerator was fully stocked with food to cook, but we did not have a way to eat any of it. The breakfast included coffee only, there was no food except a couple of packets of oatmeal to eat. Your advertisement indicated breakfast, and kitchens that were able to be equipped for use. I checked every day of our stay for the possibility of using any kitchen items, and was told every day that they had nothing for me to use. The food went unused when we left. In addition, we had to spend an additional $250 for meals outside of the hotel. I am extremely upset about this situation. Had I known this would be the case, I would have stayed elsewhere. I travel a great deal now that my kids are older and will have to consider this when we go on our next trip in October.

I would avoid this place. Paying a bit more is worth it.Every time it rains the TV goes out because they use satellite. The internet was down for 24 hours. The customer service at the front desk is horrendous. There's only 1 person who does their job. The rest of the staff sit around and talk about people to their face with other guests who use the place as a living room.As for breakfast, it doesn't exist unless you want oatmeal or chocolate muffins and coffee.Due to the conditions of the lobby I've had to use the staircase and I'm disabled. I even had 1 of the ladies at the front desk tell me to do her job for her because "You don't look disabled."When the new management took over things went from bad to worse. Anyone who'd been there for more than a few weeks was given less than 24 hours to get out. We had to leave a TON of stuff in our room because we couldn't fit it all in 1 trip. They then tried to charge us for it because the trash roof was filled to overflowing. This place gave me more anxiety than being in between homes ever did.

Smelly room, no ice machines...ice cube tray in freezer... holes in the screens. Our family drove home after the third room shown had dirt in the sheets...don't ask what the first two had.Where's the free breakfast? Never saw it, nor a space to have it.If the Team is dedicated to cleanliness, they should clean inside the microwave, vacuum corners, look and clean behind the doors, wipe handles and switches. Those areas very much need attention.

I should have asked for a handicap room-the shower is safer in those rooms. We like coming to your hotel and will be back .....

This hotel has a lobby full of people EVERY NIGHT. A red haired guest, a rude staff member, and a few other old women use it like a hang out. They gossip about everyone, all night long. My father was so uncomfortable, at 74, he left after only 4 days of our 90 day stay. I complained. Nothing was ever done. That same woman would cause so much unnecessary problems for anyone she didn't like and laugh about it with that red haired lady at night. Something happened, people were let go, so they didn't even have staff at night anymore. It's a shame that a few people can ruin so much without the proper supervision. Everything else, the room, other staff, all of the guests, were top notch.Rooms: The rooms were clean, showers were hot. The air conditioner was awesome. The kitchen appliances were all newer and made the long stay so much easier.Nearby activities: The little town of Carnegie has a main St with great little shops and restaurants. Bobs Diner is the best.Safety: Everything was ALWAYS posted to notify of any problems. Wet floor signs put out and addressed safety issues right away.Food & drinks: Vending machines. But with the full kitchen, going to the grocery store and stocking up was made easy.

I was grossed out the minute I walked into the hotel. The smell of stale cigarette smoke was absolutely horrendous(and i smoke). We get into the room, I was immediately aware that the floors were unclean and slightly sticky. I wiped the floor with a wipe, and it was dirty. The bed cover had stains on it.

The night manager, Leslie has been fantastic and helping us with different things. We need along with the team manager, who helped us get some pots and pans. When we needed something extra and it was in their power to help, they did it with a smile. The room is good size and we did ask for one for someone that’s ability challenged and this room is great. The price was very reasonable and I couldn’t say how much happier we could be. I can’t imagine.

The Extended Stay-Carnegie was a wonderful experience. The general manager John and the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. I needed to check in hours earlier and called from the airport to ask for at least a noon check in and John allowed me to check in as early as 10am. This was greatly appreciated since my flight was overnight and I arrived in Pittsburgh at 6am. The room was clean and neat, it included a cooktop, access to dishes and utensils, and a full-sized refrigerator. I was in town for business and needed short notice accommodations. The location was about 8 minutes from my clinical so it was a great option for me. I will say that it is not very walkable to restaurants or really anything, but I am from California where most things are walkable so I could be just spoiled. A freeway on/off ramp is conveniently located behind the hotel and public transportation is pretty close. There area variety of breakfast items available that are individually wrapped, which I can appreciate being a germaphobe. Overall the rate was great, the staff was amazing, there was low traffic in and out of the hotel and it was clean! Thank You Extended Stay-Carnegie!

The bathroom is small. The lady @ check-in was a royal biotch!!! Bring ur own hair dryer. It is not in the rooms. There is NO ice machine at the hotel, but they have ice cube trays in the rooms, so make ur own!
