The service is horrible and the burger buns were cold. Terrible for the price of $13 for a burger without sides.

Staff was incredibly friendly. My son felt like the boneless buffalo wings were the best he ever had.... they were good. Hummus and pitas was fantastic, and of course the burgers were amazing. Awesome beer selection, couldn't have asked for a better restaurant while in Pittsbutg.

Stopped here after a Pirates game. Delicious food. The fries, pierogis, and whiskey bbq wings were quite tasty. Highly recommend this dive-ish atmosphere.

Went there today and was not particularly impressed. Got the buffalo chicken dip which was served with pita bread which was fine. I ordered the Cajun pasta. The pasta tasted pretty plain and it kinda tasted like I was eating plain noodles with oil. My girlfriend ordered the garlic Parmesan wings which had a nice crunch to them but also lacked in flavor. Tasted like plain wings with shredded cheese on top. Service was very friendly which was a plus

Came here for a girls night after work and it was amazing! When we started there were 3 of us, and by the time we left their were 9, but our server and staff were super patient with us and added another table and chairs, which we greatly appreciate. We sat at their little outdoor seating area in front, and had a great time. We ordered some hummus, their version of buffalo dip, and Pierogies for an app...all delicious! All of the dinners looked great too. I got the Carson street chicken sandwich and I think I finished it in about 3 seconds. I also kept stealing bites out of my friends funnel cake. It was huge and homemade, soooo good. It was a much needed night out and Winghart's made the experience so much better. I can't wait for another night out there and can't say enough good things about our experience.

Winghart's Burger & Whisky Bar has a lot of competition being in the corner of Market Square. However, it really deserves that prime location! Winghart's provides excellent food and a great drink selection. There are plenty of friendly food options too which is refreshing. The wait staff are nice and, if you sit indoors, your meal is cooked right in front of you for full transparency in their health and safety quality. Be warned, the oil used to fry their food is peanut oil. However, plenty of menu items are not fried. To be specific, the impossible burger looked very plain, but it had a tasteful amount of sauce and toppings. Burgers do not come with anything, so sides must be ordered separately. The fries, however, were excellent and the chicken on the wings were high quality as you'd expect. Overall, I definitely would recommend Winghart's to anybody!

Punjabi MAC is delicious!! The creamy cheese and slight hints if curry spice hit the spot. Also bacon and onions on pierogis? You can't go wrong with the delicious wonders of glutany at Winghart's. The Melon Baller drink was also delightful. I would not hesitate to stop by Winghart's again.

Honestly I am trying to figure out what happened here with these reviews!!!! $15 for a burger that doesnt come with fries in a city that literally puts them on salad! Perogis didnt have flavor, other than 10lbs of sour cream!! Just dont know what happened here with the drop off?!?! I will say the chef running the folks behind the griddle is a beast and very passionate! Everyone else is just kinda here.....

I'd put Winghart's above all of the standard chain burger restaurants in the area. The burger was prepared exactly as ordered and tasted great. The fries were surprisingly good as well! Service was quick, intelligent, and polite. This place is small but not small enough that you are on top of other people or uncomfortable. Nice addition to Market Square. Be sure to knock on the restroom barn door if it's closed. I witnessed someone basically bust in on someone before they proclaimed "Occupied!", several times. LOL.

Shipwreck burger is quite simply the best burger I have ever had. Get it. Now. Stop what you are doing, I don't care what time or day it is. Go. Thank me later.

This is one of the best burgers I've had. The place is small but the food is worth it. The service was good. They have a cocktail menu along with a beer list. They have many times of burgers, and pizza. It's a little loud due to the size of the place and can be hard to hear. The price is not very expensive at all.

Very solid burgers. At times these burgers have been some of my favorite in Pittsburgh. 4 stars here. This is also a great location with patio seating on the square, or relaxing 2nd floor patio seating overlooking market square. Plenty of bar seating to be had as well. In addition to my burger, had the artichoke dip as the starter -- which came with really, really great pita bread. (Warm, too -- really enjoyed this part of it). 5 star pita bread. The artichoke dip was a creamier version -- which isn't my favorite, but still solid. 3 stars on the dip. My friend had some boneless wings that came with aioli, which could be a great appetizer or small meal. I'd just ask for the aioli on the side, as it's fairly substantial.

Great food, great service, great location! I love a good burger, and word on the street is that Winghart's has one of the best burgers in the city. Absolutely true. Everything on the menu looked so good, but I wanted to try on a burger on my first trip. Next time I go (and I'll definitely be back) I must try the wings and pizza! We got the sriracha fries pickles, and mannnn were they good!! Highly recommend!! 6 pickle spears for $6! The husband got the double matolla burger and ate the whole thing! I got the ship wreck burger that had gooey melted Brie cheese, caramelized onions, and mushrooms, with a truffle aioli and it was delicious!! We also got a basket of fries to share. One basket is enough for 2-3 people and only $4-5. The service was fantastic. It got super busy on a Saturday night, and the servers and bussers were running their tails off. This location is super small; I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group. Most of the tables only sit 2. I didn't go upstairs though so I can't speak for the seats up there. Wingharts is a total win. I can't wait to go back!

I usually don't start reviews this way, but I have to shout out Chris. He was our bartender/ server who was literally the nicest and most attentive person I've experienced at a restaurant. Tipping him well, didn't feel good enough because he was so kind. We came in before closing and he let us know the kitchen was closing early because it was a slow night. We were disappointed because the menu looked great. We let him know we were from out of town and asked if we could get some suggestions on where to grab a bite. When he found out we were from out of town; his face changed with compassion. He told us to have a seat and order what we wanted. He felt bad sending us away due to the kitchen trying to close. We thanked him and sat down. We ordered: shipwreck chicks sandwich, truffle aioli fries, tikka masala( Punjabi) Mac and whiskey bbq boneless wings. Everything was absolutely delicious. Especially the Mac, if you like Indian food.. you'd love this. I only took a bite of my boyfriends sandwich, but it was tender and flavorful. The food was a great late night indulgence. However, I'm still very much shocked at Chris's act of kindness. He petitioned the kitchen to make our food even though he said they would likely be irritated at him. Then, he apologized if he was "off-putting" by telling us the kitchen was closed. Chris! You didn't need to apologize. You were great. You made awesome suggestions and most of all treated my boyfriend and I with exceptional kindness!

The food is always above expectations. Don't let the appearance of the place fool you. Great happy hour offerings if you can make it there before 6pm. Had the Tatonka Chicken Dip served hot & made with good quality chicken, cream cheese, a bit of Buffalo hot sauce and served with an ample supply of warm, toasted pita bread wedges. Always a great tap selection and quality liquors. Had boneless chicken wings before which come in a variety of flavors and are made with good breast meat. They even offer those on their happy hour too! Kelly, upstairs bartender and server is always efficient.
