“Had a great experience with Pittsburgh Moving! The team showed up on time and were very efficient and communicative throughout the process. I inadvertently underestimated how many belongings needed to be moved, so they ran out of room on the truck (completely my fault). The movers made sure to ask about which items needed to be on the truck for our first night, and then contacted their office immediately to see if they could send another crew to finish up the next morning, which they did. Pricing was also very fair for the quality we received. Definitely recommend!”

The move was made more difficult because the steps to the basement are completely walled in and include a 90-degree turn. Our movers, Brandon S., Brandon B., and Brent took their time and did a great job getting the cabinet around the corner and into place in the basement. They were on time, polite, and efficient, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them in the future.”

“After All My Son's Moving canceled our move with only a week's notice these guys really came through for us!!Every individual my wife and myself dealt with were there were truly professionals. Ron, Chance, and Niel made our move almost fun. As fun as moving day can be anyway lol!! They were colorful, professional, and fast.After they moved everything out of our house they moved it to our new place and had to carry all of it up six flights of stairs. Never a complaint and lightning fast!! Some of the hardest working men I've ever seen. They truly are miracle movers!! I can't recommend them enough.”

I chose Allied - Pittsburgh because they sent someone out to the house and did what I felt was the most accurate estimate and who was incredibly responsive (Luke). Move day arrived and Mitch and Jesse were right on time and loaded everything flawlessly. They then called me the next day (when I was driving up) to check on my progress and once they arrived in Boston they arranged drop off. Did I mention there was a big snowstorm that day? I was highly impressed. They were so professional and just nice. I highly recommend them to anyone. This move was quickly planned and I didn’t need any additional stress and they made the process so easy.”

“As my wife and I just purchased a new home we decided that we would hire a professional moving company.We did our homework and received a few quotes from other moving companies and we decided to move forward with South Hills Movers and to be 100% honest, it was the best decision we made.The gentlemen that arrived were extremely professional. They walked my wife and I through their plan to get everything out of the home and loaded up safely. Once we got started I was pretty nervous, worried that my walls would take a majority of the beating but these guys didn't bump or hit anything!I was pretty impressed as the home is a 1950 typical awkward set up that makes getting furniture in and out a real pain. These guys were carrying 3 and 4 boxes at a time, taking the time to wrap everything up with moving blankets and ensuring everything was protected before moving it from the home. I haven't seen 5 guys work so hard in a very long time!All in all this was by far the best decision we made, South Hill Movers are definitely the most polite and professional movers we've ever experienced.I don't plan on moving again anytime soon but if we did I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys knowing we would be in great hands.”

“I used All My Sons for an apartment to apartment move. They were able to fit me in last-minute for a next-day availability to facilitate my work schedule. I worked with Alex and Jamal on the day of my move. They were both strongly communicative with me to assure proper handling of my possessions and provide the greatest value for the time I had them. Extra care was taken to wrap up the more fragile items and situate them appropriately for the move within the truck. Pure varsity level athleticism and cardiac health was demonstrated in their multiple trips to and from my 3rd floor apartment, which had no elevator assist. Unfortunately the truck suffered a dead battery prior to departure for the new apartment, but Alex and Jamal were considerate to stop the clock & make sure I wasn’t charged extra for that lull time. We suffered one casualty - my bedroom dresser. The employees submitted a claim to the company on my behalf to get back any repair fees required. I had a great experience with my moving crew and coordinator from All My Sons. Highly recommended for when you are moving your home”

“I'm kind of a monster. Just ask my Mom about how i scream at people over the phone when a company changes my rate, the robot answering machine sent me in a loop too long and now I'm mad, or anything else that I view as a slight to me. Point is I had an issue with one of the movers doing something i felt was a clear and obvious up charge that frankly is most likely to effect women who live alone. I behaved in a way I shouldn't of but Aires went and handled the movers and got them to admit the policy was stupid. Point is despite everything they listened and looked out for my interests. And i really appreciate that.”

“I used Make Moves for two separate moves, the first from my old house into a storage unit, and a week later from the storage unit to my new house. Both moving crews I worked with were very friendly, professional, and efficient. I was quoted for the 2 hour minimum and both times we finished just under that. I could tell they had been to the storage facility before and were very comfortable navigating it. Nick was great to work with, very helpful and patient when I needed to change the date of the second move. Highly recommend.”
