This unique stay was one of the best yet! Walt and staff accommodated our last minute reservation request and still had the room ready when we arrived. The room was cute and comfortable and met all of our expectations and came at an extremely reasonable nightly rate. Chrissy responded quickly and was very understanding when we had to call her because we were unable to locate our room keys! Walt's passion for the railroad is evidenced at every corner and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We plan to make this our lodging of choice whenever we are in the area again!

Have not stayed here yet. So this review is just about appearance. We stopped here on our way to knoebels amusement park. We walked around to check out the caboose. They look very clean and really neat the fact that you can stay in them. Talk about unique. Way different then a motel or cabin. I have some photos to share so you can see what they look like on the outside.

A wonderful alternative to staying in a dreary hotel that's less than 15 minutes from Knobels! The Penn Central Transfer caboose I stayed in with my wife was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had the cozy feel of staying in a cabin. The staff are kind & friendly, and are continuing to make improvements to the property by repainting the cabooses, I encourage anyone that loves history to try this place out!
