We dined at the restaurant, we did not stay here. Everything about the evening was perfect. The scenic drive, the beautifully decorated inn, the attentive staff, & the food was incredible... appetizer through dessert. Our server made us feel like we had known her forever. Making recommendations & describing in detail each offering. This was not just going out for dinner, it was a dining experience. It felt like an intimate dinner party in a friend's home. Highly recommend you treat yourself to the experience.Food & drinks: Lobster bisque, house salad, pork loin in an incredible cranberry sauce, vegetable saute, rice, & French vanilla ice cream with raspberry drizzle in a hazelnut cookie bowl. Not the exact official description; however my taste buds know they can't wait to go back. Pricing in line with the gourmet quality recipes & worth every cent.

Cannot give a complete rating about the rooms. We met friends there for dinner. Dinner of sea scallops were outstanding. Desserts were worth saving room for! We will be back.

The rooms aren't that modern. Very few electrical outlets. The place is very well maintained though! Great atmosphere and nostalgic! Great place for bike riding!Nearby activities: Biking, fishing, and hunting are all right by within walking distance from the inn!

Stopped for dinner by the creek. No vegetarian options. Had deck and picnic tables down by the creek where we could sit with my dog so that was nice. My mom liked her dinner. I had a side of potato salad.

If you’re in need of a relaxing, peaceful weekend, this is the place to go.A quaint, old fashioned Inn with so much charm and just the right amount of modern amenities. It’s like stepping back in time in a good way. We were able to completely disconnect and relax. Charlotte, Stanley and their entire staff were very gracious and very accommodating. The Bartender made the best old fashioned we have ever had. She has worked there for 19 years! The building and the grounds were well kept, the room was clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. You can enjoy watching Hummingbirds feeding at the windows while dining or on the front porch.

I was riding my motorcycle solo on BDR and stopped here as it is on the route. The staff was very polite and accommodating. They only take cash or checks - no credit card. It’s a little inconvenient as I had to get some cash before coming here. The inn has quite a history and its location is in a very quiet area. I would love to stop by here again. The ice cream right across the inn is quite yummy.Food & drinks: Surprisingly good food that exceeded my expectations

Cedar Run is a quaint old fashioned inn with charm and just the right amount of modern amenities. The owners, Charlotte and Stan are attentive to your needs and provide a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. The dinners are gourmet quality and as you enjoy your meal in the period furnished dining room overlooking Pine Creek, you can enjoy watching hummingbirds feeding at the windows. Located on the world famous Pine Creek Rail Trail, a 62 mile long biking trail, the inn is a perfect spot to stay as you explore the area on your bike. Seeing bald eagles is almost a certainty.

I often say I feel like I'm in a Hallmark movie when I'm at Cedar Run. The atmosphere is beautiful, relaxing and romantic. The food is perfection! The employees are kind, friendly and make you feel comfortable. Truly a Gem and I highly recommend experiencing Cedar Run and all they have to offer.

If you are vacationing in the Cedar Run area, a visit to the Cedar Run Inn for an extraordinary dinner is a must! Incredible service and even more incredible food! A hidden gem of a restaurant located in a beautiful historic home nestled in the mountains. Try the beef medallions or the roasted duck! And don't skip dessert!

Lovely place, old fashioned (no credit cards, wifi or cell phone coverage), great food and drink, located in a beautiful area next to Pine Creek in the midst of Pa's beautiful northern forest. This is not a place for folks looking for modern amenities; this is more like stepping back to 50 years ago. But it is a wonderful cozy place to escape and relax.
