New to the area and had trouble finding an honest shop to inspect my vehicle. Each one i called gave me a different price and were not inspiring confidence. Look no further than Adam at Centre Automotive. He quoted me a price with tax down to the penny which was better than all others I called. Adam was able to work with my schedule and get me in quickly. Great job, friendly, honest and efficient. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go here for all your automotive needs!!

🚫Terrible customer service ! Dont waste your time. First time customer and last. Twice dropped off vehicle for the day taking off work and it was never even looked at for inspection. NO communication with cancelling my last appt until 5 days later. I left multiple messages. The owner doesnt care one bit about your time or keeping you informed. I get things happen but you dont just blow off your customers for days when you have a business. There is too much remote technology to let this happen over 5 days. You could make phone calls sitting on the toilet ! Not a lack of time but a lack of caring. One hour, if that, out of that week would of been all it would have taken to contact only clients with appts who were dropping off cars before they open.

Thank You Adam Klinger! Cars and their issues usually give me so much stress but the owner of Centre Auto not only walked me through what needed to be done for my exhaust system, but also reassured me each step of the way. She’s running great and sounds like Subie Sue should sound, again 😄. Appreciate this!

As a woman, it can be hard to find a mechanic who won’t try to overcharge you on services you don’t actually need. That’s not the kind of service I find here. Adam is the best mechanic I’ve ever had; he is trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. He’s truly a gem in the State College area.
