I ordered a club sandwich and paid extra for bacon and a mix of peppers and onions. Unfortunately, what I received was far from what I expected—especially for the price.
First off, the bacon was a letdown. I didn’t even get four slices—at best, it looked like two slices broken in half. The vegetable mix I paid extra for was barely there—just a speck. On top of that, the sandwich was made with an end piece of bread that didn’t even match the other slices, making it awkward and uneven. To add to the frustration, the sandwich was only half-cut.
I called the store and asked to speak with the manager. She apologized but told me to write a review, so here I am. For over $9, I expected something much better. This experience was disappointing and left a bad taste—literally and figuratively.

Staff was so worried about talking to each other nothing is unlocked for lunch and they still got my order wrong when I found something unlocked 1/10.

I just have to give a huge shoutout to Taylor D. at Wawa! 🙌 I stopped by for a quick visit, and from the moment I walked in, Taylor made sure my experience was top-notch. I was having one of those days where everything seemed to go wrong, but her positive attitude and willingness to help really turned things around.
Not only did she help me find exactly what I was looking for, but she also made sure I got the freshest coffee and even offered great suggestions on some snacks I hadn’t tried before. 🍩☕ She was patient, super friendly, and just went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with everything.
It’s rare these days to come across such excellent customer service, and Taylor absolutely nailed it. 🌟 She genuinely cared about making my experience a good one, and I left feeling so much better than when I walked in. Huge thanks to Taylor D. for being amazing and for making my Wawa visit one to remember! 👏😊

The younger generation here are so respectful and always willing to help you!
It's clean. Always stocked , and the line moves fast!
I see a few new faces and they're doing a good job too!

If your looking for a quick coffee this is not the store to go to the coffee dispensers suck have to wait for it to brew it every cup there are other stores with better systems

Their DoorDash service is terrible. Tonight makes the 3rd time that I've gone to the site and they don't have an option for 1 gallon of milk so you're forced to pay extra and buy 2 of the half gallons. Again, I ordered a pint of ice cream and again, they've delivered a single serve chocolate milk instead. This was NOT due to the "Dasher"... they provided great & timely service.
Incompetence starts at the top. The manager on duty after 10:00pm needs to be brought in for more & better training and then train their employees or the manager needs to be let go, followed by employees who aren't interested in being held to a high standard. This isn't Claymont... get it together.

Order COMPLETELY messed up!! Ordered. 2 Signature Honey Mustard Panani Sandwiches
Order #918 on March 24 at lunch. Both Sandwiches were dry. No HONEY MUSTARD on either, no Pickles on one.

Found out this WAWAs Order screen does match what they say you are getting on Signature Sandwich. Called store when I got home. Spoke to on duty Manager Will who investigated and confirmed the WAWA screen issue vs what I order. Wants me to drive back 20 minutes to fix order!!! Not happening then 20 minutes back home.
Not happy with WAWA here. Manager putting a ticket in to fix their order screens!! While we eat their dry mistakes.

My Family and really Enjoyed our visit to this WAWA' allowing us to purchase some Snacks and a Ready to Go Pizza while making a fuel purchase. Nice going WAWA.
Parking: All the Parking places' every ware.
Kid-friendliness: All kinds of goodies
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. But' the doors are not motion operated Yet'
