The Lodge at Chalk Hill

The Lodge at Chalk Hill is a wonderfully renovated and absolutely amazing place to stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and very nice, with recent updates and beautiful, tasteful decoration. Guests can enjoy a comfortable bed, a fridge and microwave, and a nice porch or deck overlooking the large pond or lake, which is very serene and calming. The premises are quiet and peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway, with a walkway encircling the pond where visitors see butterflies and hummingbirds. The staff provides excellent, outstanding, super friendly, courteous, and accommodating customer service. The facility is very reasonably priced and is a definite must-stay. While there is no breakfast, only coffee, and some areas were noted as needing a refresh, the overall experience is highly recommended. The Lodge is located conveniently for visiting local attractions like Fallingwater, Fort Necessity, Braddock’s Grave, and nearby restaurants, and is also being updated to accommodate events like banquets and weddings. Guests consistently state they will definitely be back.
