It is heartbreaking to even have to write this but I am finally able to do so. We recently had to hear the devastating news that Bella had a suspected bleeding mass and we were going to lose her. The vets and staff at creatures were amazing and supportive. Together we came up with a plan to try and keep her comfortable and happy to get through another Christmas, however, we sadly didn’t make it.We have had great care throughout the years at creatures great and small and highly recommend them. Thank you all for all of your knowledge as well as love and care for my sweet Bella throughout her life and specifically during her final days. I especially want to thank Amy. Her support and listening ear helped get me through one of the darkest times in my life and I will forever be grateful.

We’ve been taking our furbabies to Creatures Great and Small for 20 years now, and I have always highly recommended them to anyone seeking vet care. They are very thorough, and their prices are extremely reasonable and competitive.Dr. Meyer is PHENOMENAL! She’s extremely knowledgeable and over the years has worked hard to continue educating herself on new treatments and therapies so that she can provide the best possible care. She looks at every possible angle in order to diagnose your pet accurately. She’s also a rabbit-savvy vet which is extremely hard to find in our area, and treats you like one of her own family members. The vet techs and office staff are all super friendly, caring, and attentive. They’re also efficient with their work and do their best to minimize stress on their furry patients (and their parents). They’ve always shown love and respect to our babies, and they show a great deal of empathy—especially when something bad comes along. My only “complaint” is that they don’t have weekend hours, but I understand that since they are a small office with limited staff—they deserve to have days off too. If an emergency arises, we just go to Mountain View AH in Hagerstown or (for our bunny) Shores Vet Emergency in Harrisburg. Dr. Meyer and staff are very quick with follow-up afterwards.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Excellent, grade A vets. Knowable, thurough, however, 2 for not being very personable. Still doing COVID protocols, have to call when you get there, wait in your car, etc.

I switched to this vet after my usual one, which is much closer to my home, didn't return my call /voicemail for hours when I had a sick dog. CG&S was the only one in the area that would see her. But not only that, they went out of their way to fit us in. They took great care of my dog and got her feeling better fast, and made sure everything was back to normal with follow-up visits. After that, I made the switch.Since then we've been working to figure out other issues, as well as getting vaccines for her. Each visit everyone has been friendly and provided good care. Dr. Meyer is thorough and honest and explains things really well. They don't push things on you, but make recommendations when you want them. Exam rooms have always been clean and staff seems to get along well with one another. One complaint is they aren't always accurate with their fee quotes. That hasn't been an issue for me, but if you're on a tight budget or need to have a very good idea on how much your bill is going to be, ask for a detailed estimate first. Also, they ask you what payment method you're using before you even enter the building. I'm not sure why that matters or why they ask that, or what happens if you end up needing to change it based on what the bill came to.You must call when you arrive and then a tech calls you back for the initial discussion. I'm not a huge fan of that, but if it makes things easier for them then I get it. After the visit, payment and any follow-up appointments are done in the exam room. I do kind of like that because then I'm not trying to control a hyper dog and pay my bill out front.I hope they get some kind of online contact/appointment scheduling at some point. Many places offer that, often with an app. I'd love to be able to access vaccine records on an app, as well as request non-urgent appointments, ask a question, or even provide an update on my pet. Or, for medication refills. A couple vet places in the area offer texting, too. Not sure how I feel about that, but could be handy.

The treatment of my pet is fine. However, the customer service has a lot to be desired. Their check in process for bringing your pet to the facility is odd. It’s like they’re still stuck in Covid restriction.

They were kind enough to see us same day for an emergency involving my rabbit despite being booked. Good service for a fair price and great with rabbits!

Worst experience I have ever had at a veterinary facility. I have been utilizing this facility for the past too years and while I wasn't super impressed I liked the vet (Dr Meyers) there so I continue to go since it was so close to my home. Today however when I took my 10 year old bulldog for an initial check up the that Tech proceeded to put a choke lead on him and drag him down the hall. When I asked her not to do this another tech stepped in and said that I and quote "need to show him Who's in charge." I told her that is unacceptable and do not talk to me in that manner at which time she told me that it is her job and I was not going to undermine her. Needless to say we will not be returning and I would highly recommend anybody that continues to utilize this facility to monitor pet safety at all times!

They were compassionate with us and our 11year old female dog as we learned she needed relief from her terminal condition. When the day came, they carefully and thoroughly told us what to expect. A few days later our male dog was miserable with ear infections. They squeezed us in to their booked day and quickly got him some relief. I highly recommend them!

Staff is great! When we lost our first cat, the veterinarian was amazing. It was covid, and she had to explain everything over the phone. She was very sweet and allowed me to ask all the questions. They have always treated us well and addressed any concerns we have.

I can't say enough great things about Creatures Great and Small. Dr. Group is absolutely fantastic. You can tell the staff truly care for animals and they are always excited to see our little Yasha. They take fantastic care of our animals when we need them and get us in incredibly fast. I trust them with the care of my pets and that says a lot. Fantastic office
