DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY !! My parents only use them because their insurance said they gave the best rates but every time they go there it's multiple hours to get prescriptions and then it's not ready. When they say even when my mother got out of the hospital twice recently and they absolutely needed a prescriptions that day, they still would not fill them in a timely manner. They need to be shut down by the state law

I had my new pharmacy reach out to this Walgreens to send a prescription over since I had switched pharmacies. They never sent the script. I called early in the day and there were “more than three callers ahead of me,” so I decided to call back later. I called back later that evening and was on hold for 45 minutes before I finally just hung up. I understand that like many places they are probably understaffed and very busy but that is just ridiculous. I wad very dissatisfied with this type of service. I felt like I would’ve been left on hold for another 30 minutes until the pharmacy closed then disconnected… Terrible.

This place never answers the phone and after half an hour it hangs up on you. My prescriptions are never filled until a week after they’re sent in drive through waits are long I’ve been told several times to come back in 15 minutes and then when I do “come back in about 15 minutes” tf after this month I’m done

Called Wednesday morning for a prescription refill. Automated teller said prescription would be ready after 11:00 am Thursday. Went in on Friday about 12:30, was told refill not ready.

Appt. To get booster shot for COVID. After waiting 20 min and had filled out the form I was told their shot had expired. The girl behind the desk was very inconsiderate. Then went to CVS to get the booster and received excellent assistance. CVS had to call Walgreens to have them back it out of their system in order to have my insurance cover it at CVS. Very poor customer service. Why did they have it in their system after not being able to give it to me.

We have been to this store a few times. The employees are always standing around, ignoring customers. No one at the cash register in front. Pharmacy closed, when it was listed as open online.The Walgreens we used to go to in another state was great! I loved the staff and the store! I traveled across town to go there.I wish the owner/manager of the Chambersburg Walgreens was proactive and would take better care of this store!

I would have given them 0 stars if possible. i had a prescription called in and went to pick it up. i went to drive thru and there was an old lady just sitting there, not getting waited on. i drove around the building, parked, walked in and there were 3 young females behind the counter all giggling and gossiping. i could see the old lady still sitting at drive thru and they wouldn't wait on me either. I drove by a couple of afternoons later to pick up the prescription and the due to short staffing, the drive thru was closed. i tried to transfer the prescription to CVS but Walgreens doesn't return their calls. i called this afternoon and the pharmacist wouldn't transfer my prescription at my request. She told me to get CVS to call. i used to really like Walgreens, but i will never set foot in this one again! People need their medicine and walgreens couldn't care less. Take your prescriptions elsewhere!

Hildred at the pharmacy was great! She helped me out with my Covid test even though the system’s were all down. She saved me from a full day of headache trying to get a Covid test for my trip. Thank You Hildred!

Used to be the best place to go. Last year or so went so downhill fast. They got to many customers and not enough employees. You wait hours for prescriptions that should be done. They are closing random times through the week. People need these medicines to live. Walgreens as a whole should come down and help this store out. Pharmacy techs and pharmacists are always fantastic but they don't get the pay or appreciation they deserve. Nor the backing from the company itself. Go anywhere else and safe hours of your life

I live in a senior apartment building in Chambersburg, PA. The driver has been leaving packages on the sidwalk outside of the building making them available for any thief to pick up. Fed Ex did have a code to get into the building. We have a double door entry. If he is afraid of the virus, he could at least leave the packages between the two doors. This was never done until recently.
