The meat department. They were rude. First, they were standing around talking and laughing while I waited around for a good five or so minutes. Then I politely asked them if they could cut a piece of meat because it was way too big and due to a medical condition I have I couldn’t cut it and they gave me a ridiculous answer, so I left. My mom bought that same cut of meat at her Giant and they happily cut it for her. I will not be buying meat from Giant anymore. They are more helpful at Walmart which is saying something!

Had several negative experiences here. Poor customer service at bakery, seafood and meat. Staff is not familiar with where items are in the store, so it's a search for Waldo if it's not something basic. Also they updated the store but took forever to update signage. More specifically - I ordered 5lbs of shrimp was billed for 5lbs and got 3.5 after waiting an extra 45 minutes because they were behind. The manager told me that the 1.5 lb difference was due to it being frozen shrimp. Umm paid for 5lbs should get 5lbs or at least 4.5. Just seems like there is a huge drop off compared to the Giant on Norland Ave. The management was put off when I brought things to their attention and most of the staff seem more interested n socializing with each other. To top it off one of my kids started to work their gave them his class schedule and they scheduled him in conflict with his two classes at Ship. Not to mention the training he received was slip shod at best. I am going to start going back to Sunnyway and the Butcher Shoppe from now on.

An employee helped me on his break load my groceries and take my cart back to the store. He saw me struggling to get through the snow to my car and offered to help right away.

I would like to thank this store from the bottom of my heart. I have gluten allergy and I went into the store yesterday and saw that all the food was labeled gluten free with blue stickers on the shelves. You will never know how much this means to me. It makes shopping and my life that much easier. After I left the store I cried because of the thoughtfulness of the staff who took an allergy that I have and made me feel like a priority. Thank you all so much! I truly hope you continue to do this and that your store is an example for other stores.

Nice store. Clean and well stocked. Reasonable prices. Disappointed they didn't have local scrapple. But other than that I was a happy customer.

Having 1 elderly man working the deli is ridiculous. As well as only being able to order through the kiosk. Never have I gotten my meat/cheese sliced the way I asked for it when I ordered. From the time he printed my ticket to the time I received my order was 30 minutes... for 4 things!

Overall, Giant easy to get to, and most times quick. They try to be helpful and like anyone else cashiers make mistakes and willing to correct them.

A decent store with all the departments (deli, meat, seafood, bakery) they have some interesting regional products that stores in New England do not have such as pickled bologna. The beer and wine is in the middle of the store and they also have a beer garden (strange ) and you have to pay for all the alcohol right there - separate from the food. Very weird. Other customers moved SLOW and took their time- local culture but all the staff were friendly and helpful.

I like the Giant Food Stores. This particular one is very open and always clean. They have a very nice selection of products. The employees are always helpful and friendly. They also always have plenty of cashiers open. Really you can't ask for more from a grocery store.
