It’s long, but if you care about who is responsible for your pets, please read!I took my cat for his annual appointment for shots, only to be sent to the emergency animal hospital and not come home with my cat. He was perfectly fine before taking him into LWAH. They took him to the back for shots, he screamed something terrible. Not once, but multiple times he screamed and cried. When they returned to the room, my cat was wheezing and gagging. He threw himself around in his carrier and then projectile vomited. He was then taken to the back to check the color of his gums and put him on oxygen. Vet came back and said he was doing okay off of it, but going to continue to keep an eye to make sure he is okay before sending home. (Keep in mind, his appointment was at 4:40 and at this point it’s like 5:30 and they close at 6) Minutes passed, I was getting anxious with no update so I went to the front desk and asked for her to go get an update. Vet came in and said she was going to call the emergency vet to see if they had room, they did. She said they have a room for him, but we don’t have oxygen to send you with so we can’t promise he’s going to make it. What do you mean not make it? We came for SHOTS!!! There was nothing wrong before this. It felt like they were just shoving us out of there because it was after 6 at this point and they wanted to leave. There was a possible heart murmur the vet started talking about while my cat was acting weird. But what gets me is they continued to stress him out instead of stopping like they should have. It was a good while after the screams that my cat returned to the room, so yes they continued on him even after the stress of the shots. They should NOT have continued. They should have stopped after seeing my loved one in so much pain. Whether they did something wrong but won’t admit or put him through max amount of stress that caused his heart to fail, I will never know. But what I do know is, anyone that knows me will not be supporting this business. And I sure hope no one EVER has to go through this heart break that I am, with 0 answers as to why my cat went in for shots and didn’t get to go home. I’m very disappointed and all I got was “I’m sorry” over and over. That will never cure the pain of hearing my cat scream and watching him struggle to get air while driving down 81 because they gave up on him. These pictures are right before we left and on the way. Happy as ever.

They actually listened to my concerns about my dog and got him in fast when he was sick. Would recommend this place to go too for your pets

They were able to get me in for an emergency vet appointment the same day. Everyone has been so nice to me, and to my cat. They seem to be very knowledgeable, and the staff just seems all around great. Regardless of the outcome of this appointment I will definitely be asking if I can bring my pets here from now on.(Update) So things did not turn out well, but I will say this again the staff is just wonderful. I have had some bad experiences with vets pushing things that aren't in my pets best interest. I so appreciate that they did not do that here. The vet did what was best for my cat, and for his quality of life. It's a little further for me to drive, but knowing I can trust my vet means everything. I am bringing my cats brother in to be checked, and this will be his vet for life. I can not say enough good things about my experience with them.

My dog was due annual checkups and vaccinations. Brought him in, received his annual shots and his "Annual Preventative Wellness Exam" which is basically a visual exam ($60) and was told to bring him back in two weeks for booster shots. Today (2 weeks later) I took my dog back for his booster shots but was charged again for the "Annual Preventative Wellness Exam"....I was puzzled by the charge since two weeks prior they had already charged me for the very same exam. When I asked about it, the lady up front told me that each time my dog gets a shot they will charge the $60 for the "Annual Wellness Exam".I went to a couple of other Vet offices in town and found out that no one charges for this "Annual Wellness Exam" each time you take your dog to them....in other words, I was ripped off of $60 without any logic explanation.DO NOT take your pet to this clinic....You'll get ripped off big time...there are others in town with a much better and efficient service. Unless you like to give your money away!!

I have to give these guys 5 stars. My 11 year old cat, Owen, got sick the day before I left for vacation. He was worse the next day and my vet was unavailable. They got me in right after lunch. He passed away maybe 3 minutes before I got in the door but they still put me in a room and the vet came in and checked him to make sure he was gone and talked to me a couple minutes. I don’t know why, what happened but they didn’t charge me for what they did and in this day and age that surprised me. Thank you guys so much for that, it meant a lot to me!

We started taking our doggie here because it was pretty conveniently located but we are also very pleased with LWAH's service. They have a very friendly staff. We really appreciate the care they take with our dog especially since she is a bit needy when it comes to her behavior.

The doctor and staff were friendly. The doctor took her time with me and my doggo. His illness was a little of a mystery, but she and the vet tech asked enough questions and examined him thoroughly that I feel confident we got to the bottom of it. Prices are reasonable. Clean waiting room, and nice selection of items to buy for your pet if needed.

Traveling from south Texas with our two dogs, one of which was a 12 year old Harrier. Both her hind knees were bad but recently had really started to struggle and then her breathing seemed labored with any exertion. We called Lincoln Way and explained our issue and they fit us in in less than 24 hours. Dr. Shew was both gentle and compassionate and explained our treatment alternatives.Ultimately we decided to euthanize our life long friend and both Dr. Shew and her staff were supportive and understanding. Could not have asked for a better experience given the sad circumstances.

My little doggie was bitten by my neighbor's dog. He was hurt. I called so many places they were the only ones to see him right away. They were all nice. Thank you Ladies.

The staff at LWAH are all very kind, warm, caring and knowledgeable. When we had questions they were thoroughly answered. The establishment is clean and inviting too. We are very happy to have LWAH as our dogs vets!
