About Southgate Shopping Center
Southgate Shopping Center is a mixed-bag experience for local residents. While the shopping center offers convenient access to essential stores like Family Dollar and a Mexican grocery, it also faces challenges with shoplifting, loitering, and an outdated appearance. The environment can feel sketchy at times, but the ample parking and quick in-and-out access make it a preferred alternative to larger, more crowded stores. Despite some empty storefronts, loyal customers hope that the core businesses like the tax service and laundromat will remain in the new development plans for the center. Overall, Southgate Shopping Center provides a practical option for basic needs, though it may not offer the most inviting or modern shopping experience.
