I've never had a bad experience here. Sure every time I go in, the line is long and I'll have to wait 10-15 minutes, but it's not like the employees are sitting there twiddling their thumbs. I always get my packages delivered in a timely manner. Packages that I mail out are also easily tracked using the tracking numbers on receipts the employees generate for me. Employees are always kind and helpful.

Went there to pick up 2 packages that said delivered but never arrived. One of which was there, and after 30 minutes of verifying I live at my adress they finally gave it to me. Then about a week later my landlord hands me the 2nd package and says it was just delivered to their house. Are we kidding??? A week late to a completely wrong adress??? The staff isn’t very nice and makes you feel judged/like your dumb/ like your bothering them. 0/10 post office

Make sure to set aside at least a couple hours of your day for them in the event they decide your package isn't important enough to deliver. Feel like the USPS should be providing me compensation for all the work I do for them that's their responsibility.

If you give them your prepaid packages without scanning for a receipt do not expect them to be scanned. They will tell you to scan at the kiosk for a receipt but that scan doesn’t count as an official acceptance either. Many online marketplaces require packages to be scanned by a certain time… don’t drop your packages off here if you want them scanned.

They absolutely have no accountability. They claim they delivered things on a certain day but bring it the next day or the following week if its on a Friday. They also claim they attempted delivery of certain things but they never tried. Be accountable and say package is to big or we dont want to deliver it or whatever the case is and let people know before the end of the day!!!

HORRIBLE I DON'T KNOW WHO IS IN CHARGE OF DELIVERING FROM THE DROP BOX THEY HAVE BUT ITS CONSIDERED THEFT AND TAMPERING WITH LEGAL MAIL WHICH IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE, IF YOU DROPPED OFF ANYTHING AS OUTGOING MAIL IN THE DROP BOX HERE AT THIS LOCATION AND THE RECEIVING PARTY HAS NOT RECIEVED IT
YOU NEED TO REPORT IT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT IMMEDIATELY. I MAILED LEGAL MAIL A WEEK AGO AND IT HAS YET TO BE RECIEVED!!!!!BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE THE PARTY HAS RECIEVED IT.

So where to start, I live in the rural area of Chambersburg. More towards St.Thomas twp. I’ve been having trouble with my packages being delivered correctly, my mail lady decides to strap my packages to the outside of my mailbox right beside the road. Mind you, I live down a driveway where I have no way of seeing my mailbox from my home. So multiple instance's of this happening, what happens when someone snatches my stuff? Is the mail lady going to buy me another one ? So recently she just flat out won’t deliver my packages, I had a package that was out for delivery but required a signature, so I made it a point to wait at my mailbox (since I work 3rd shift) she never showed up. The next day in the mailbox was a “sorry we missed you” Upset that she never showed up but left the note like she tried to deliver ended up calling usps, talked to a manager on the phone that ensured that what the mail lady has been doing is unacceptable and it would be handled. The next day the package was dropped at my door, didn’t ask for the signature either. So I thought everything was fine now. A few days ago I was to have my monthly subscription box delivered. Small box, mail lady would always put in my mailbox. Well I get a “Sorry we missed you” in my mailbox, stating I need to get a bigger mailbox for my “daily amount of packages” I get 2 damn packages a month. Never had a problem with them going in my mailbox.
Fed up with mail ladys sheer laziness, went into usps to express my frustrations. Get told that they gotta get more info from our mail person.
The next day which is now today, get a call from a man named Brian, says he’s from usps and let me know that the mail lady feels harassed so she just won’t be delivering any packages down my driveway and told me to get a bigger mailbox. When I felt this conversation going no where, I asked Brian for his last name he refused, I also asked for his superiors information, he laughed and told me they would tell me the same thing then hung up.
I’ve never felt so defeated, this is completely wrong and I would have to say this is the shittiest mail carrier. They DO NOT care about you. Never had a problem in 27 years until now .Usps shame on you.

The absolute worst delivery service. My normal mail carrier is awesome but pray to high heavens your package is sent through fedex or UPS. They’ll just deliver your products to the wrong address (or not at all) and then keep insisting they delivered it to you despite video evidence. Then there’s no accountability or resolution. Tough luck, report it stolen. I half suspect the package delivery drivers shopping via your packages.

I have never in my life had a carrier that decides on any givin day whether they want to pick up your packages or not that you leave out for them to pickup ! That would be the Forest Lane Area! I do the pick up online and I go as far as to leave a note in the box telling them of the pick up and here it is after 5pm and my parcels are sitting at my front door for pick up!!! I run a business here, and the incompetence of the Postal Service is ridiculous !!! No More UPS here I come.
