“This was an absolutely fantastic hotel.
We stopped halfway between Boston and Atlanta, after 9hrs in the car with our dogs and were thrilled when we got to the room.
It was big, clean, kitchenette had everything needed to cook breakfast and make coffee and there was no dog fee!
It’s situated near a bunch of restaurants and had tons of grassy space to walk the dogs. Also shower power was excellent!!
The front desk staff were so helpful and gracious.
Highly recommend to anyone!”

“I hadn't been to the Barrel House before because I was never sure when they were open or what was going on. But Kitchen 39 started up there in mid-July 2025 and I stopped in to try them out. The cocktails are delicious and the space is beautifully designed and decorated. Super photogenic although I was too busy talking to take any good photos of the location.
The food is exceptionally well done and thoughtfully prepared. I had the burrata which was perfectly prepared with strawberries, basil and a balsamic drizzle, served with perfectly crusty bread. I took home a wood-fired pizza which was filling and delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place out, they now have regular hours and the kitchen is nailing it.”
