I have loved Walgreens. Been a customer for 11 years to this pharmacy. In the last 3 years, service has slipped, but this year it has finally gotten shamefully bad. My last 3 visits? 1- submitt a medication with 3 refills- tech put it in with 0 refills and I had to fight to get them to locate the original written prescription to prove it was 3 refills. (On a plus, the lady did finally find the script and corrected it and I was very grateful to her)visit 2- needed a medication to fight infection- medication was not n stock for 7 days. Had the get sicker before I could get my medicine . Last visit? TODAY- cant Breathe- bronchitis! fun times!!!! prescription submitted 6+ hours ago and received at that time. Hear nothing, go to pharmacy 6+ hours later for very common med prescription and it wasn't even started yet. I am told they were busy (no customers, store was empty, had 6+ hours to fill script that their app said would be filled 5 hours ago) and understaffed so I had to wait another 30 minutes. Tech was frustrated and rude, though so was I, so I can't blame her only. 11+ years of customer loyalty and a ton of visits for meds - I just transferred to rite aid because this was Walgreens last chance and they blew it big. If you want to wait countless hours, have your scripts entered incorrectly, or have them not have very commons meds in stock- please go here! Oh, and drive through is only open randomly, it's kinda like a surprise- drive up and maybe it will be open, but probably not. Badly done Walgreens Chambersburg! You used to be awesome, I used to recommend you to everyone. Wtf happened?????? And don't blame Covid- other pharmacies locally don't have your issues.
