I’ve been going to this branch with no issues and great customer service for years at this point, but a few weeks ago experienced the worst customer of my life. I went in one morning to deposit cash, and was met with extreme attitude from the woman behind the counter. She was almost borderline yelling at me about money bands, or my lack thereof, in a way that was extremely disrespectful to me as a customer. I was confused on why she was so angry, especially because I was the only customer in the bank. I’m not sure I will be returning to this branch.

Gave them a second chance after leaving a few years ago due to poor customer service. Recently did an auto loan with them as they were the best of high rates. Made a deposit and they put a 20 day hold on the check. Never again, looking to refinance out of this bank and never deal with them again.

My husband and I went in to open new accounts at Citadel today and were so impressed! Sianya, the market manager, took wonderful care of us and explained how the credit union works and set up our new accounts and answered all of our questions. Everyone there was upbeat and very professional. It was obvious that this is a community business that has customer service as its priority. We are so happy we switched to Citadel!

4/25/2023 - I had an awful experience trying to wire money from my checking account to a third party. My wire was rejected with no explanation besides, they need to "do more due diligence" whatever that is supposed to mean and informed me that the wire would not go through without further information such as private communications to supplement the wire, which I viewed as a huge breach of privacy. This was the first time I ever experienced something like this and I've banked with banks such as Chase and PNC. In an age where smaller banks are viewed as less trustworthy and increasingly more risky due to the risk of not being able to withdraw the money you deposited, Citadel has done nothing to ease my worries, instead only worsened them by not providing any form of explanation as to why they were obstructing the wire when its staff have easily explained their policy and why these measures are in place and offer me guidance as to what I could do to process it instead of insultingly suggesting to cancel the wire. Needless to say, once my wire has processed, I will be transferring the money out of my checkings and savings into a larger, more credible bank.

I'm never excited to handle things at the bank, but Katherine M. at the Paoli location made it so easy and stress-free. Hopefully she gets recognized because she was lovely to work with! I wish I lived closer to this location now.

I had to withdraw a few thousand dollars from this locations ATM. They reciprocate with my bank, PSECU. The teller helped me change smaller bills for larger ones. She was so kind and helpful. Thanks again!

So in general, we like Citadel, with one GIGANTIC exception. If you are planning on using your Citadel credit card for large purchases from time to time, DON'T BOTHER. Without fail, EVERY TIME the transaction gets flagged by their fraud detection system. This is even more infuriating when there is a limited time to get a transaction to go through.I AM DONE . Will be looking for a new home for the 8 accounts we have at Citadel sadly

The s is such a great place to do business. Employees are all awesome. Just wish there was a phone number that you can call to reach Paoli, without knowing the last name of someone that works there and then hope they are working. Totally frustrating. Need an answer from THEM, not from an automated system.

I broke my debit card in half. I rushed to this Citadel location expecting to have to submit a request for a new debit and wait several days using cash in the meantime. To my surprise, I was able to get a new one on the spot! Bill had excellent customer service and made my weekend! Thank you Citadel Paoli!!!!!

I've had an account with Citadel since I was a child. Now my husband and I have our joint account with Citadel as well even though we live in the city. I love using a credit union rather than a traditional bank. They rarely have extra fees, and usually they end up reversing them after a call to customer service. They're part of the credit union ATM network so I can deposit/withdraw with no fees at in network ATMs (or deposit checks electronically), and rarely have to trek out to the burbs to go in person.

I have never actually gone into the Citadel but have used the drive through ATM many times. It is always working and reliable.

Every employee from Citadel has access to all customer's personal information including their full Social Security number. They pretend to provide security when in actuality every customer is relying on the vetting process of Citadel's unethical, uneducated employees to keep their information safe. What a joke. The feds should be looking into this institution.
