“I can’t say enough about how well my cat, Sophie, was treated. She was very sick when we brought her in, and her emergency stay brought her back to health. She was there for 4 days, and couldn’t have gotten better care. Everyone was so kind from the minute we got there. A veterinarian called every day with an update. The cardiologist called to give us the final results of her tests. Everyone spent as much time with us as we needed, and was extremely kind. When she was being released, there were a lot of instructions, and someone spent an hour going over all the details with us. She even showed us how to order the supplements that Sophie was going to need. We would have been lost without that help. After she came home, I called with a question. I left a message, and someone got right back to me. She even asked me to call back to give an update. When we went back for her follow-up with the cardiologist, he spent as much time as we needed, explaining everything to us & answering all of our questions. Even though we have to drive several hours to get there, this is now the only place we’ll bring our animals for critical or specialty care.”

“Dr. McIntyre and the entire staff are amazing; they do almost everything in-house and truly care about our fur babies. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and when we moved to the area I tried 3 different clinics before finding this one. Animal Hospital of Chester County is by far the best. Our oldest dog and our cat are established here now; the only reason we haven't moved our other two dogs over yet is that they don't accept CareCredit, which matters a lot with 3 senior dogs and the cost of proactive cancer screening. Hoping they add it as an option soon, since everything else about this practice is exactly what we were looking for.”

“Dr. Goedeke is truly a godsend for my vet-anxious rescue dog, Winnie. She has a way with handling dogs that is very effortless and efficient. Bringing Winnie to the vet is a chore that requires a lot of patience and calm energy because of her anxious/evasive tendencies (even under lots of sedative meds) Dr. G made the physical exam so much less stressful for me as Winnie’s handler, and she gave me autonomy on how I preferred the handling to go, while gently advising me along the way so we could both prioritize Winnie’s comfort and make the visit efficient. Her patience with my dog was truly remarkable- not even to mention her obvious wisdom and attention to my dogs’ needs health wise. The tech team is very sweet and the front desk attendants are responsive to questions and needs. I called them on their lunch break when Winnie ate a wasp and got her mouth stung😂, and they were so comforting.”

“It was bonkers the morning I dropped off my three kittens to be spayed and neutered. The staff were very organized and kind. I was unaware I needed a crate for each kitten, I had my three kittens in the same crate. The staff handled the issue with ease and just gave me boxes. My kittens are doing great! I don’t think they even know they had surgery. I highly recommend Brandywine Valley SPCA!”
“Good practice. Very compassionate staff, very caring and patient in stressful times. Dr. Lefavore is just the nicest Doctor. As is the rest of the staff ofc. They are a tad pricey (or i am just not wealty enough), but they do not try to order unnecessary tests and procedures, they are honest, so its a fair trade.”

“From the moment I initially reached out and spoke to Alexis, to my two visits, I have nothing but positive things to say about this practice.
On my first visit, I met with Dr. Marcie and Trevor. They were both so kind and gentle with my babygirl. Very personable and VERY knowledgeable/informative. I was also impressed with how quick Dr. Marcie read Duchess’ medical file which I provided right before the actual visit!
My follow up visit was with Dr. Lauren and Trevor and I have to say, I couldn’t be more impressed! Dr. Lauren has such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cats and their behaviors etc. Her and again Trevor’s gentle handling especially while trimming nails was exceptional!
As for the establishment, it is very clean and provides a tranquil environment for our fur babies. My little girl had very minimal anxiety and pretty much just wanted to explore the rest of the place.
Again, I cannot rave enough about my experiences and will gladly keep my girl under this practice’s care.
And yes, even she gets excited to go to the vet. Cat tax photos!”
“There are so few vets that handle birds, rabbits, guinea pigs and the more typical cats and dogs! It's great to find someone who even understands the vaccination schedule for these animals!
Highly recommended.

Dr. Meredith explains the complexities of my cats health so that I can understand what is going on. Mackenzie, one of the vet techs is one of the sweetest and caring vet techs I have ever met. She does her job to the optimum. I would recommend Affinity to anyone that is looking for a health care home for their pet's care.
