“CAUTION, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU DECIDE ........Our dog got very sick.Upon taking him to this vet we were told we coukd pay $150.00 for quick blood and get answers in 30 minutes instead of waiting for days.This quick test was gunna tell us if anything very serious was wrong with his organs,well we got the results and were told that they didn't aee anything that woukd cause concern,that his liver and kidneys were fine. We were sent home with steroids. Well our dog died within 7 days of our visit,when we called to let the vet know we were told that our dog was very very sick . The lady on the phone said she can see in our chart that someone tried to send us an email but it never went through,but no further effort was givin to try and contact us...... Uuuummmmm WHAT!......she said sorry and that is it,they had no answers as to why nobody ever tried to call us,or even make an effort to reach us in any way what so ever,nor did we get an answer as to why we paid extra money for fast blood work that obviously either doesn't really work,OR the test was never even looked at in this office. He may have died anyways but at least we would have known the outcome,instead we were living on a dream and a prayer,(and the word of our vet)that he was gunna be ok. In conclusion I thought it be important to let others know or at least have some information before relying on these so called " fast results" tests,to not put all your eggs in that basket. Someone dropped the ball on this one,and our dog isn't around to run after that ball or any other ball again.BTW we were never givin a refund and we have never heard from this office again. Hopefully one day they will realize that our animals are our children,their lives and care should be taken seriously as if they were humans cuz their loss cuts us just as deep”

“Dr. Matunis has taken the best care of my pup Ruby. She is a fearful rescue and he is very patient with her! We have also brought our family dogs here my whole life who've had various procedures and surgeries with good outcomes. The vet techs are also wonderful and the practice sends consistent reminders for wellness visits and vaccines.”

“I have been personally visiting critter care for a few years now, and I have family and friends who have been going to this clinic for years.I take 2 of my male dogs hereBoth of the veterinary doctors Doctor Lorie and Doctor Donald are amazing. They always hear out all concerns , they are honest and kind. The entire staff is very friendly compassionate people who actually listen and truly care. All of the Techs are super awesome, friendly and very intelligent I appreciate all of the technicians tooI really appreciate that the care team ensures that their patients get necessary care, while also being mindful of costs of things.I love my dogs and being a client at critter care has incredibly enriched my life as a dog mom.I know the doctors and staff sees a lot of patients. “This is a new veterinarian for my cat because we moved. Fortunately, a doctor from the previous practice is there and remembered my cat who is 16. They were lovely. The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that they charged $19.50 to clip the cat’s nails. This is the charge WITH a checkup! It took the tech about 20 seconds and should be free!!!!!”

“My 15 year-old cat Harry had slowly been losing weight for several months. My vet here in New Jersey did some blood work which came back normal and told me the weight loss was most likely due to a food preference issue. I tried some different foods and Harry continued to lose weight. My vet ordered an ultrasound of Harry's abdomen and told me he was sure Harry had lymphoma based on the ultrasound results. The only treatment offered was symptomatic treatment with steroids. I wanted a second opioion and options for chemotherapy if Harry indeed had cancer, and found Blue Pearl in Malvern.Because Harry's cancer diagnosis was presumptive and not definitive, I was referred to veterinary internist Dr. Peralta. She ordered extensive bloodwork, a new ultrasound, and eventually a biopsy that did not show lymphoma. Harry is now being treated for an inflammatory bowel process, has gained back over a pound, and is more spry and energetic than he's been in the last couple of years.I can't say enough about the level of care Harry has gotten from Dr. Peralta and the team at Blue Pearl in Malvern. They have been 100% on point with everything to the extent that I was assigned a unique text message number just for communication about Harry. Dr. Peralta has spent more time with me and has been more thorough than any medical provider I've ever had for myself or any animal in my life. Her nurse Alexa responds quickly to any questions or issues I have. Blue Pearl is expensive, but you get what you pay for and if you love your pet like I love my beautiful Harry, the cost is well worth knowing you are getting the absolute best veterinary care available.”

“I wanted to update my post. Although my heart is breaking, I just wanted to take the time to once again to thank Dr. Frost and her team for their compassion. I had to put Sherlock asleep today in order to rest with the angels. It was a hard decision, but he was dying and in pain. Everyone there was helpful and compassionate. They treated us both with respect, dignity, and compassion.They showed Sherlock love in his final moments. For that, I am truly grateful. Dr. Frost and her team are wonderful! They are both professional and compassionate. My cats get excellent care at Whitelands. One of my cats is a diabetic rescue cat, and they have dedicated their time to helping him. My other cat just got his teeth cleaned and had to have a tooth pulled. I feel comfortable leaving my pets in their care, knowing that not only are they being taken care of physically, but they are also being treated with love and attention. I appreciate it! I definitely recommend taking your pets there because, let's face it, our pets are like family members, and we want the best for them.”

“My 13 yr old maltipoo, Whitman, was attacked by a German shepherd last evening. I called first and was advised to bring him in. Every single person we encountered was patient and caring as I was shaken up. Everything was explained well and there were no surprises. They took great care of him and he’s home now resting. Would definitely recommend to anyone facing a pet emergency. It’s not cheap but like any ER you have to expect that. He was seen at Blue Pearl North, in Pittsburgh.”

“Going to the vet with my very introverted cat is always an ordeal but the ladies at Colebrook Manor Animal Hospital were so kind and helpful! We needed to be seen for a semi-urgent matter and not only were they accommodating but helped put my mind at ease and handled my cat incredibly well (who can magically turn herself into a 100 lb. meow-howling brick when we have to leave the house.) “They did a great job spaying both of my cats. I would absolutely recommend their services. The only thing I would say is to get there right at the beginning of both the drop off and pickup time slots that they list, because when you get there the process is for you to text the number out front and wait in your car and it can sometimes be a little bit of a wait for them to come and grab your pet/bring your pet to you if they’re busy (which is fine and totally understandable, just something to be conscious of if you haven’t been there before. I don’t think it detracts in any way from the great work they did - I was fine to wait as long as I needed to and both of my cats healed wonderfully from their spay surgeries with no complications, which is what matters most)”

Any specialist worth seeing, for humans or animals, is booked solid & I know that if he was examining or treating one of my birds, I'd be extremely upset if he walked out to answer the phone. Don't put my baby at risk for your call. That's the height of priveleged rudeness. Wait your turn even if you don't get your call bact til the practice closes.”
