This is my favorite local "mom and pop" market and it has been a must goto for me in Chester! In addition to having many convenience store items like snacks and drinks, their fresh prepared breakfast and lunch selections are so delicious!!
If you really want to delve into the Korean food culture, their fresh, homemade beef or spicy pork bulgoggi (aka BBQ) sandwiches or full platters (with sesame sticky rice) are absolutely AMAZING!!
If you want that small town market experience, then The Ave Market on Providence Ave in Chester, Pa is definitely where you want to go. They truly love serving their customers.

Owner was upset that there chicken cheesesteak was disgusting I usually just get breakfast and I wanted a refund after eating and was nice about it said it was not good I didn’t like. I went to get breakfast and they didn’t want to cook because I didn’t like from before . They need to go back to china because they don’t have any respect for American customer service .shut them down . Im sure If inspections came through they wouldn’t be open anyway.

Horrible place they food nasty, they tried to Cheat me out my money (guess they think us black Americans are stupid), when u trying to tell them a problem with the food they refuses to remake it or refund the money back… I believe this place should be shut down

The sandwiches and salads used to be so good. Now they give you 2 pieces of meat and a slice of cheese and that's it. You have to pay extra for meat.
