They’re supposed to give us breakfast every day, but for the last 2 days they had no food for breakfast…and that’s bad when you’re one of the largest non-profits in the world but plan so poorly that you leave the people who rely on you heavily, to go without eating. Also, the mats we have to sleep on are only like 2-3 inches thick. Most are torn and/or stained with who knows what, and you wake up every 20 minutes because the mats are so think that your ribs really feel the concrete below you. These mats need to be replaced. One last thing: they don’t force anyone to shower. Unlike other shelters, the Salvation Army doesn’t make anyone clean themselves. This is especially bad considering you may get the mat a “stinky” person used last night without knowing what all the stains are on that mat.Overall, I appreciate having a warm place to sleep, but there are definitely administrative issues that have been neglected and overlooked for far too long.

People are full of drama here when you try not to pay them any mind; They still find a way to bring you down. If you don't NEED to come here , DON'T. Some people forced to live here are great BUT the staff needs better Supervision from the upper Mgmt. Lou Morse needs to keep a better eye on Sharon.

The staff here & the homeless residents are over medicated pill addict's that smoke crack on a daily basis. Everything is covered in dust. It smells of mice, drugs, piss, shit & puke routinely. My stuff has been stolen while locked up in the closet. They either have no food or they serve expired pork & half raw chicken while they give away fresh produce to outsider's living in their home's. They have no working laundry. Everything is covered in dust. Ppl smoke crack in the storage closets, bathrooms, kitchen & gym where we sleep. This place is HELL for a sober individual.

Its a mess staff will pick on you bring you down and Never help its like they push you to misbehave so they can write you up to kick you out! They don't make people shower, they aren't organized with coming up with a home plan - they just make all these super petty rules and no support is given the food is often expired its falling apart no one is in charge- staff have their favorite clients they let bend the rules- if they kick you out they will let certain people come back not all- toilet broken shower broken the time we eat or can get access to our personal items change everyday! NOTHING is consistent its worst than being on the streets! When you come here be ready to be your own advocate- don't let them walk all over you because We Are Just Homeless people they don't care about us!!!!!AVOID AT ALL COST
