This store is absolutely disgusting I went shopping in there for a few items. I bought a thing of hotdog rolls didn't look at the bag right away. Got home only to realize there was holes in the bag and the bread had been chewed. I was disgusted and went back and returned the rolls and got a refund. Turns out they know they have a mouse and rat problem and choose to do nothing about it. They warn customers to check their breads before purchase. No one said anything to me when I made my purchase. But the fact that the employees there know that there are mice and rats and they choose not to do anything about it. That is disgusting. I am going to be calling the health inspector on this store since they chose not to do anything about the mice and rats. I have even seen some mice run into the deli department where the employees work. DISGUSTING

The there price for meats and other things just wish store was a lot bigger workers are very pleasant and friendly I was planning a party for my granddaughter and was talking about moon bounces and how hard it was to find one that time of year well one of the gentleman told me about Big Var and gave me the number and address where to go which was a couple of blocks away from the store and Big Var was available to New Castle Delaware and save the day for me with out a problem thanks Sam and Sam's for the help and great customer service

There was a time when Sam and Sam's fried chicken party tray was good/tasty. Got a 40 piece party tray this past Sunday for a birthdaycelebration...taste was horrible...fried chicken had no seasonings whatsoever, tasted like it was dredged in flour only and then fried in old oil...it's been a few years since I ordered a fried chicken tray from them so my expectations were from my previous experience. You all have fallen way off...never again will I buy fried chicken from Sam and Sam's!
