This was my first time dealing with LCW. I was referred to them by a buddy who does dealings with them for his 71 Nova.
I was looking to replace a broken turnsignal switch in a 67 Camaro. Upon purchase of the car we were informed that the steering column was out of a 69 Camaro. When I called to order the switch I was put into contact with Chad who was more than helpful when I first talked to him. He asked me about the ignition cylinder location and when I informed him it's in the dash he told me that the column was a 67 column and he could order me the switch. I followed up with him four days later and he told me the switch was in their warehouse. I told Chad that I purchased an aftermarket switch from my local parts store and there was a very slight difference between my original switch and the one the parts store got for me. I asked Chad if I could send him pics of my OEM switch (which unfortunately showed no part numbers on it) so he could identify the exact difference between the two. He did, infact, look at them, or rather told me he did. Then he said the replacement switch he ordered was what I needed. I paid over the phone with a credit card and three days later when I received the part I opened it up to see that it was not what I needed.
I called him back and tried to talk with him about this in hopes he had some more information for me. Instead I received an email from him stating "you must be doing something else wrong. We sell many of these and never had any problems ".
Well Chad I guess you can't say that anymore.
I called LCW and asked if they had a switch for a 69 column in stock just to see if there was a difference between the two. When they told me they did I returned the part to LCW in person.
The gentleman who greeted me at the counter was very nice and did get me the switch for the 69 so I could see it. Unfortunately it was just like the one for the 67 except a different pigtail which I expected. When the counter person took the OEM switch back with him to see what else he had that might work.
When he came out he approached Chad at which time Chad muttered a couple of words about that's what they had and it was American made (which I loved to hear) and then he cowardly walked away not to be seen the rest of the visit.
The good hearted counter person actually took the time to look at the OEM switch and a picture of the steering column I was working on and seen that I was not making up my situation or doing anything wrong. To this I do regret not asking him his name as I was still upset at how Chad responded to me and behaved while I was there. However I appreciate what the counter person did for me and he issued my credit, his apologies and a handshake.
I really hate that my 3 stars are posted because a person who holds the title of VP of sale was too busy or arrogant to listen to me for a few minutes but after turning wrenches for more than 25 years I certainly was not happy to be treated this way.
LCW otherwise was an impressive setup and everyone else did seem very pleasant.

Ordered a rear seat shelf for a 74 Chevy nova. Was sent the wrong part. Was told to ship it back they would take care of it. The part cost me $39.00 to send it back,$20.00 to ship it to me. I'm out $59.00 and still have no part. I will pass it on to all my friends.
