His prices don’t reflect the perfection of work that he does.Mike did a fantastic job, that you couldn’t even tell the dent had been there. The paint looked new as good as factory. Highly recommend anything from minor body work to restoration.”
“I am so happy I found Derek! I had just moved to State College from Cincinnati and to have car problems right after moving is not fun. Don't waste your time with any of the mainstream auto service places, he's worth 10 of those "certified mechanics." My Subaru was making this weird rattling noise that I couldn't pinpoint. Not wanting to spend an arm and leg at the dealer, I took my car to Midas and Tire town. What a waste of time, none of them could tell me what was wrong. I then found Derek and took it to him, and within 5 minutes of inspecting underneath the car, he found the source - a control arm bushing. He charges very reasonable prices for his fast, 5-star work too. I will definitely be taking my car to him for any future maintenance. “One of the best mechanic shops I have ever worked with. They want (and do) the best for their customers. The repairs are quality and the prices are reasonable.I took my 2007 Honda CR-V for tie rod & sway bar replacement. The gentleman did the repairs and then informed me about a couple of others that were necessary. He even went forward and did repairs that he thought would be good and only charged me for parts for those repairs. What’s more, I had to pickup my car for a couple of days while we were waiting on other parts (after most of the repairs done) and he didn’t want me pay for repairs that were already done. It made me feel really good seeing that trust is not a thing of past. The lady in the office was also very courteous. Not surprisingly they are very busy and you need to make an appointment in advance.Hands down the best mechanic experience for me. I highly recommend Harry’s to anyone in the area and State College.”
