Where apathy and laziness intersect. Recently went to pickup a prescription at drive through (only because the local Rite Aid is closing down). Waited in line for 10 minutes. Get to window and a security gate closes in my face with 3 cars behind me. The reason? Lunch time. Instead of alerting patient people waiting in line they just close up shop. No sign. No notification upon arrival to the line. Everyone deserves their lunch break but cannot one person stay to assist customers in one of the parts of the day where people actually go to run errands. Retail is dying because of this and hopefully CVS will follow the same destiny as rite aid to let new small businesses that understand and care for customers thrive when they are gone. Everything sold inside is overpriced. If it wasn’t for fleecing customers with their prescriptions would they even have a business at all. All CVS locations in my experience are basically the same but this was even worse more so.

Never have prescriptions in stock. Always on delay. Long lines. Overworked staff that sadly shows (not their fault). With Rite-Aid set to close, hopefully they can fix this but I imagine it will only get worse when they take on their load.

It is so annoying that you can't call and simply speak to someone.

I called to have them pull a prescription from
Clarks summit pharmacy and they told me it would take 2 hrs. When I found out 5 min later that I didn’t need it right away, I called back to cancel everything so I could pick it up in Clarks Summit, it only took maybe 5 min, they couldn’t send it back. Clarks Summit now need 2 hrs this am to refill it for me! It’s a very stupid system and as a courtesy, they should have contacted Clarks Summit to have them do whatever they needed to do for me to get my prescription later today! The manager just came up with a bunch of excuses! That’s very bad customer service!

This store is absolutely filthy outside and when I mentioned it today the woman at the register told me it was the customers who make it like that. True but I can't imagine the last time the sidewalks were swept, it has to be years! Unfortunately there's only one other in town and they look like they are going out of business. Hire a commercial cleaning service!

This is honestly the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Ever since they moved to their larger store, the pharmacy has declined to the point where I changed pharmacies completely. The pharmacy staff are unknowledgeable, incompetent and have even once delivered me the wrong medication.
Beware!

TERRIBLE customer service at drive up window... Nasty attitude , WAS told that I "had to move MY CAR IN THE LINE FOR THE PHARMACYDRIVE UP. As there were other vehicles behind me.. !! when I refused. FAT NASTYtold me she would NOT wait on me, then called " reinforcements over... a 27 y.o. young man ! He was polite & kindly asked me to pull around the entire BUILDING again & wait inline.!! It was 10minutes to CLOSING TIME.... suspect the staff couldn't wait to leave !!. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION ...

I cannot imagine CVS corporate office supports the rude behavior of its employees at the Clarks Summit location. Believe the reviews… the employees will lie to you and once caught in the lie, they will hang up on you.

CVS on State St in Clarks Summit is clean and well stocked. Pleasant staff. And CVS electronic coupons that I load onto my card saves a lot of money, like $7 off $21 last visit.
