god this place sucks. been waiting here 30 minutes and i don't think they even told any of the customer service reps i am waiting. Would've called on the phone but that always takes 3 hours minimum of waiting. All for a problem they caused

I've been banking with citizens for over 17 years and believe over all it's a good financial institution but my experience today at the Clifton branch with Michelle was horrible. I have several business accounts with over 15k in all of them combined. I also have four debit cards and accidentally been using the wrong one with a low balance. I incurred a couple of over draft charges and figured I would speak with someone in the bank about what happened since I was there making a deposit. I waited for assistance and happened to be seen by Michelle who I believe is the office manager but not sure since no one in the branch wears name tags. Michelle explained to me in a harsh tone there was nothing she could do about the fees since it was my error. I tried to inquire about linking the accounts since the money was there just not in the right account but her only suggested was to opening a savings account and add overdraft protection. I already have too many accounts with Citizens and didn't want to open another. I also understand the error was on me but don't like the way I was treated by Michelle and dismissed like my business with the bank doesn't matter. I closed one account withdrawing most of my money and will progressively withdraw the rest ending my relation with Citizens Bank. I think the Regional Manager should take a look at how this location is being run and provide customer service training.

I came here to do a large withdrawal that I had called before hand and the lady act like I was doing fraud or something like damn a black man can't have money? Lady was crazy racist and jealous cause she couldn't even make that in a year

So the problem I had was that I traveled a distance to get to the bank that closed at 3:00... I arrived at 2:30 lights were out and bank was closed. Signs on the door said 3:00 as well as the staff inside the market that told me 3:00 but at 2:30pm It was ghost town. I will never go to this location ever again and I plan to call corporate.

i just called and the lady on the phone did not even attempt to help me with my issue. She just transferred my call to a number where I can check my balance over the phone. Not helpful and not what I needed assistance with.

I wish I had gotten the woman's name, but she's in the corner office with Live Laugh Love type stuff everywhere. She's the worst. Condescending, mad she was asked to do her job, judgemental as hell, did NOTHING to help, and LIED saying I could call about an on going issue I've been having, when every person I've spoken to has told me I have to go in in person.I left quickly, without actual help, because the way she spoke to me was so ridiculously condescending that I was going to scream at her for being unprofessional. I'd rather travel to ANY other branch than ever deal with that rotten attitude.

Worst experience, new branch manager was rude and unknowledgeable. Have had a business account there for over 15 years and threatened to freeze account over an issue she was 100% wrong on. I had to go to another branch that took care of my issue in 20 mins. Flat out horrible customer service and closing all my accounts with them.

No Transaction Registers for 2023! Teller only had statement savings account register & outdated deluxe 2026-2018 for a business! This is Outrageous! I don’t need new checks to order a register!!!

Was here about a month or so ago very nice bank and the branch manager was very kind and helpful with what my boyfriend and I needed. The bank is pretty small but other than that it is conveniently located near different food restaurants and shops. I would definitely come back again in the future.

The people that work there are rude especially an old woman blonde short hair in her 60s is the most ignorant grumpy woman to deal with . I left the bank because of her.

If you want the worst online customer service a bank could offer this is the bank for you, you will be on hold on average of an hour + you will very rarely get a person in the United States. The reps from over seas are rude and don't understand what you are saying. This bank deserves an award for the worst online customer service ??? The only way you will ever be treated right by any bank is when the people stop expecting this treatment.
