Nails were a mess, THE NEXT DAY! I drove 25 mins for this salon bec I got a pedicure with my husband 1 day; I chose a random shop near a shopping mall... had a great service that day! Went back for a full service experience, and the nailist seemed unsure! She did her best-- took longer than what I am used to, but I walked out semi-satisfied! Got home and noticed my nails were not the correct shape..then noticed the gel polish was lifting off my nails!! Not 1 nail but 3 nails! Salon was now closed.. I called in the morning and drove up to the salon again, and I was treated like I was green and my UFO had just landed! 👽... I spent 100.00 and didn't get a design nor a dinner date, so I expect some real attention to your imperfections! I went in, and the nailist told me it was my fault bec I didn't place my hand flat under the UV dryer! Are u kidding me!!! Girllll, if u don't fix this mess!! The owner walked up like I was unruly and just asked me to sit down. we will take care of it! I demanded that she take the whole polish off both nails! Reshape my nails! Buff them and not place 3 LAYERS OF POLISH on my nails so they can dry adequately! Ok, did I mention I am a former cosmetologist, so I am very familiar with the process! My nails were finally done, and no one apologized and said thank you! I wanted my tip back from the previous day and maybe half the money I paid!! This salon didn't show any remorse for what I experienced! But they did cater to everyone else in the salon, that did not look like me!! No shade, but I am very professional, and I expect the same respect and treatment as anyone else with green money!! Needless to say, I am done with Solar!! You can have it.. going back to my home salon in the Northeast Philly! 👋🏼😤

Very unhappy with my visit I had yesterday, I was a walk in and nobody specified how long the wait would be to give me a heads up like other salons usually do I waited almost 45-50 minutes to get in the chair. The guy in the salon did my nails I originally wanted a flower design and it looked horrible so I ended up going with plain bubble bath and told him to forget the design, my nails look super bulky bumps all over them piece of hair stuck in it the nail polish looks horrible like there wasn’t enough coats. Waste of time and money 😫😫

I'm backkkkkk, they also so nice and welcoming in here. The massages that come with the service is awesome. The hot stones on my legs and hot towels just make me want to curl up and crash and take a nap.ill definitely be back. They are closed on Tuesdays, so plan to come any other day they open at 10am.

Terrible customer service and preferential treatment (waited 45 minutes and should have been next up as I had been there prior to all who had later arrived). Took someone else after first saying "who is next?". I stood and said "me". She disregarded me and took the "other" customer. I left and went down the street to Sky Nails and was taken right away. Subpar Solar Nails actually did me a favor because Sky Nalls is more friendly, upscale, and sanitary. Don't waste your money here! Travel a few blocks down to Sky Nails. No bugs, no smell, and no wait.

Beware!! I went in for a French manicure with my natural nails for a funeral. The lady took my $35 before she started the service. She went to get the water to soak my nails and then she prepared to cut my cuticles. Without asking, she began to file my nail length down very short. She put my hand in the water and began to cut my cuticles. She started on my left hand while my right hand was still soaking. She got to the thumb of the left hand and made me bleed. My thumb is still sore from the cut (two days later). It hurt so much I got annoyed and told her I didn’t want her to finish. I asked them to charge me for what she did already. They have me back a $20 bill. So basically I paid $15 for my nails to get a bloody sore thumb, filed unevenly and cuticles cut from five fingers. They cared more about keeping my money than keeping a customer. Another person offered to fix it, but I was ready to go because I was in pain. Never coming back. UPDATE went to urgent care for antibiotics, I feel like they owe me money now!
