Soooo I just left Coatesville Enterprise what an experience renting a car that I reserved 3 days ago. I was asked to come in early to pick up my car. Well I did and initially I was not happy with my vehicle . When I tell you the manager JOHN went above and beyond … wow…I was pleased. Sometimes things happen and you try to just finish the task and move to the next customer. NOT JOHN he didn’t stop until the job was done correctly.
I haven’t been to this site in a while because of a negative experience! John made a believer out of me.
John thanks for your impressive customer service skills and supporting this customer! I will be back.

A reservation is to hold my car for me!! I made a 8am reservation, showed up at 830am. Was told my reservation was for 8 and my car was given away. No phone call, text confirmation, nothing?? The lack of customer service and motivation from the gentleman was shocking.
Car booked was a luxury vehicle, he offered a corolla with no discount. No thanks
I walked out, shaking my head, and will never use this location and recommend you do not either.

This place gets a bad rap because people complain about it taking too long to get someone on the phone, but that doesn't tell the whole story, not even close. This is a busy location and the two guys that make it all work, Andrew and Mickey, are why you want to rent from this location. Sure, they don’t answer the phones as quickly as you would like, but that’s because they're busy giving top notch service to the customers standing in front of them. It’s not just initial, initial, sign and swipe either. These are some very personable guys who despite the constant stream of customers, the calls on hold, and the other Enterprisey stuff they do that we don’t always see or know about, they still have time to laugh with you, talk to you, do you a solid or make you crave chicken wings at breakfast. In other words, they make you feel like a human because they treat you like one. Thank you gentlemen for taking what was a very stressful situation for me and turning it into an enjoyable experience. I won’t forget it or the two of you. Looking forward to my next rental.

This was for a loaner during collision repair. I was going to substract a star for an issue I had during pickup, but after discussing with the manager, everything was resolved quickly. Friendly and excellent customer service level. I've also used Enterprise in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

My family and I took a vacation to Florida and rented a van for a week. The online reservation for the vehicle was very convenient and quick as well as easy to do. I booked the car from 12pm on a Friday and was set to return it on the following Sunday at 12pm to my surprise they called me on Thursday and told me to come pick up the vehicle free of charge (a day early) because it was just sitting till the following day (which made my life so much easier for packing 5 people) the pick up was quick and easy as well as the staff actually cared! They were so kind we spoke about my upcoming vacation and he sat and dealt with my indecisiveness with patience. He was very informative and helpful when it came to the added on insurance. I extended the rental online the Saturday before my set return for one extra day as we decided to extend our vacation a day with travels to Tennessee. The online extension was easy and painless. I returned the van clean and on time. Received a call a few days later to close out my rental and the gentleman asked how everything went, I informed him of how happy I was and grateful everything went so smooth he thanked me for cleaning the van like we did before our return. Fast forward a few days my deposit was refunded to me and 103 dollars was missing out of it. I called and spoke with a gentleman about the whole situation and explained the whole ordeal he immediately placed blame on corporate. After debating with this gentleman over numerous of different scenarios brief holds I was finally refunded the remainder of my deposit with no final reason on why they tried to take my money. The only thing that possibly made sense was they tried to double charge me for my extended day that I added on. The gentleman wasn’t nice nor happy he had to refund me. But other than that I had a great experience

I love how Enterprise lies right to my face. Told me $800 to rent with a debit card or $400 on a credit card. Went to rent the vehicle for the trip and wanted to put a hold on the CC for the other $400. That's not what you told me last week. Thanks a whole lot wasting my time. Now I'm scrambling to find a vehicle for a trip. You should probably make it clearer for people so they can understand this information. Not the day the rental.

The last two cars that I rented smelled like smoke. I rented a Chrysler Pacifica on 3/13 and a Chevy Trax on 3/16, both were one day rentals. The Pacifica's cigarette smell was not as strong as the Chevy Trax. I made the rep aware of the smell before completing the paperwork. He took it into the garage and sprayed but that only masked the smell. The smell was so strong that my wife and I both had headaches. I have rented a few times from this location in the past and never experienced anything like this. I'm accustomed to renting cars that are "no smoking." Simply spraying will not get rid of cigarette smoke. The rugs and upholstery need to be deep cleaned and detailed. I was very disappointed and will think twice about renting again from the Coatesville/Thorndale, PA location. I will say that the workers were pretty friendly but that location should do a much more efficient job of ensuring the overall cleanliness (inside and out) of the vehicles they are renting to customers.
