Collegeville store: was able to find a good deal of good buys, unfortunately got there too late to find any good books, as they were picked over from the 5/$1 sale that was going on. Asked the cashier about making an offer on buying a mass of smaller items in bulk, they had me talk to the manager, who not only turned me down but was rather unpleasant about it. Was not even sure it was the manager , since I'm a frequent shopper and had never seen this person there ever. Have never had a problem making a reasonable deal at other thrifts and felt that her dismissive attitude goes against basic customer service, as I donate regularly to the thrifts and support their mission.

This is for the one next to Giant in Q town not the one near the taco stand As a frequent thrift store shopper, and multiple business owner I can say the customer service here is horrible. Both times that I tried to donate items I was met with very poor customer service, first time I was told they didn't want the stuff I was giving them, second time the older gentleman who wears the Vietnam Vet hat would not say hello to me after I said hello to him twice, when I asked him if he wasn't talking today, he said "nope" then turned his back and tried to walk away with the items without even a thank you at which point I stopped and him and took my donations back out of the cart. One of the managers who's name I believe to be Carlton is rude and seems bothered anytime I ever had to deal with him which has been at least 3 times, this other time I bought a stereo which didn't work and when I took it back they made me wait about a 1/2 hr while they tried to prove me wrong and make it work, they failed, meanwhile their sticker said "tested/works" and icing on the cake is the completely OUTLANDISH pricing they have going on. If you are reading this, you are not an eBay seller, you are not an antique store, your are not a boutique, you are a THRIFT STORE and your prices are whack, your service is whack, and your staff is whack. If you don't correct these issues I can't imagine you'll be there very long. 2 thumbs down, negative 5 stars, the worst thrift store around and I visit them all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, you'll only leave disgusted and disappointed.

Place is pathetic. Over priced. Everything is donated and they charge arm and a leg. A lot of electronics sold as is approx $50 over eBay prices and they want you to roll the dice on em. It's really poor management here. I picked up a cup that was .25 cents. It was stacked with 3 other cups that were identical. The three cups priced at .79 cents. So getting three of the same cup was 4 cents more than buying solo. Simple pricing mistake. Instead of admitting the cups were priced wrong she told me she won't sell me anything. I've legit spent thousands here and they treat customer like crap. Not great customer service. Whole business is horrible to get free donations and mark them up to astronomical prices do not shop here

Large thrift shop, wide variety, clean items and fairly priced. I have found some treasures here and often to look for more. ?

Waaaay over priced. You're a thrift store, not Target.

They over-price every item in the store, the customer service is rude and demeaning, and the revenue goes to convicts.

Way to over priced not as much stuff as Pottstown Or Montgomeryville. Save your money and head to those two locations instead.

This place is a disgrace. The donated items go through many hands before it reaches the floor. Employees pick with abandon from the back before things go to the floor. They resell themselves for their own gain and profit. There is only overpriced mediocre stuff and junk, much of which can be bought on sale at retail stores for less. Many people I know, as well as myself have stopped shopping and donating there. It is sad and truly unconscionable what has happened to this place.

A couple of guys came to pick stuff up and tried to shake me down for cash. They said they make the decision on what furniture they take. If I gave them cash, they would take it.Beware

I wouldn't waste my time. Everything was overpriced. Even with strongly noticeable defects they are still twice as much as I would ever consider paying. Staff was also not very friendly, couldn't even greet you even after looking at the counter items for several minutes; they would rather chit chat to each other.

Really annoyed at this place after today. Came by to donate a chair, ottoman, and table that I had to rent a car for and spent my whole day coordinating. Got to the place and the donation section was closed. I checked the website multiple times over the last few weeks and there is nothing on the website that says the donation hours are different than the store hours. This was a major inconvenience. Then the girl at the desk was trying to tell me that it was all on the website. It’s not. Fix your website. Make the donation times more clear.

I got there right before closing to get a cabinet I saw the day prior while driving through. The price was awesome and it was something i had been searching for. I wasn't fully sure I could fit it in my SUV and needed some cart to move it out of the store. The girl working (long blondish hair, not the cashier) moved it on a cart and brought it out to the parking lot. Then helped me load it. I don't ever buy large items like this so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get the cabinet. I'm posting this a month later (this was jan 21) but wanted to thank her above and beyond efforts.

I loved coming here, but after the insane prices this weekend I might have to stop. I go to the thrift store for financial and environmental reasons. I go every weekend. If you’re trying to punish the people who resell you’re actually hurting the people that buy for themselves and family. I heard many others out loud share their displeasure with the pricing. Shame on you selling donated items for as much or close to what they would cost new.
