“Love this store and could spend hours here. The adult clothing is a little more expensive than other local thrift stores but the children's clothing is so cheap. They have large selections of kitchenware, children's toys and books, games, crafts, and more.”

“I got there right before closing to get a cabinet I saw the day prior while driving through. The price was awesome and it was something i had been searching for. I wasn't fully sure I could fit it in my SUV and needed some cart to move it out of the store. The girl working (long blondish hair, not the cashier) moved it on a cart and brought it out to the parking lot. Then helped me load it. I don't ever buy large items like this so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get the cabinet. I'm posting this a month later (this was jan 21) but wanted to thank her above and beyond efforts.”

“This review is long overdue ... About six years ago, my daughter was shopping at retail stores for a prom dress, finding nothing (affordable) that she liked. A customer overheard us, and suggested that if we were willing to drive out to Skippack, there was a store that could almost definitely help. I looked it up on my phone - we could get there, but we'd arrive about ten minutes before they closed. I called the store, and the owner agreed to stay open late - just for us.We drove out there, and we were not disappointed. At first, I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of merchandise available, but the kind owner spoke with my daughter for a few minutes, disappeared, and returned with three dresses. All three were viable candidates, and my daughter picked one of them. The price she charged for the dress, matching shoes, and a clutch was a mere fraction of what we would have paid for the dress alone at a retail store. This is not a typical store. If you browse by yourself, you may have a very difficult time finding what you're looking for. I would seriously consider making an appointment in advance. But the payoff is huge; the owner knows her stock extremely well, and customers should leverage this.”

“A gem of a thrift store! Great clothing selection, household items, jewelry and local crafts. The prices are great and I went on the last Friday/Saturday of the month where everything’s 50% off! I highly recommend coming here and supporting them! Everyone is so nice”

“A well-organized and diverse Thrift Shop, bigger than it seems from the road. Please donate and by here, as this Thrift Shop really funds multiple local Social Service organizations, and is a true not for-profit source of their sustenance. I rarely donate to Goodwill anymore because this organization is a much better recipient that really serves our community! a list of some 50 Social Service organizations that it funds is on the wall behind the register... Very impressive!”

“Excellent quantity of goods and very well organized. The displays make it easy to look at each item without everything being piled up on top of each other. The prices are excellent as well. It's a great place to pick up something knowing that you're making a small contribution to a good cause.”

“Lots of stuff in this store. Lots of luggage, bags, shoes and so on. Like any other goodwill, some of the stuff is mixed up with other sizes. Some customers don’t bother to put it back where it should go.”

“Prices still higher than they should be for some things, but thats all goodwills. The reorg and redesign of the store helped, and they have a bigger selection and more available employees.”

“Here's a more detailed breakdown:
1. Rising Operating Costs:
Rent and Utilities: Like any retail business, Goodwill stores have to pay for rent, utilities, and other operational expenses, according to Haven House Thrift Stores.
Wages: Increased wages for employees also contribute to higher operating costs.
2. Increased Demand:
Thrifting Trend:
The popularity of thrifting and the growing interest in sustainable consumption have led to a surge in demand for used goods, according to Yahoo Finance.
Resellers:
Resellers often purchase items from Goodwill and then sell them online at higher prices, notes a YouTube video. Goodwill's prices may be influenced by what resellers are willing to pay, and they may also be looking to capitalize on the resale trend themselves.
3. Quality and Brand:
High-end Items:
Items in good condition, especially from well-known brands, may be priced higher than lower-quality or generic items.
New with Tags:
Even if an item is used, its condition and brand can significantly impact its price.
4. Goodwill's Purpose:
Non-profit Mission:
Goodwill is a non-profit organization, and its profits go towards supporting community programs.
Raising Funds:
Goodwill stores need to generate revenue to fund their mission, which may lead to higher prices compared to for-profit retailers.”

“I been going to this store for the past 5 months, and I have experienced nothing but great customer service from customers service coordinator Nick. When I come into store he always greets me, asks me how am I doing and if I need any help. He is always very professional with me and anyone he comes encounter with. I often see he is very respectful and polite to her colleagues and coworkers. For what I can see when I’m in the store as often as I am, he always is making sure everyone in the store is happy. Celeste is also a wonderful worker, she is always respectful and kind.”

“I come to this store every now and again, and I just have to say, the staff and manager here must be saints. The kindest people. A young girl and her mother walked in while I was shopping and the girl had such an attitude and was so mean spirited towards the owner it took me aback. And the owner still asked to help her unload her car, took her items right away (even though I’m sure she wasn’t first) - this store has top notch professionalism and customer service. Come here if you want to be treated well.”
