“Excellent place to buy reminders at a very good price, a lot of variety for all tastes and budgets. The store is small but its owner makes it very welcoming, helpful and friendly. I recommend visiting it, you won't regret it.”
“First timer! What a treat, literally...we talked mitzvah planning, friendship circles and I got a whole tour to see each product that would fit my needs/wants, can't wait to work with Jody for special events, insta friends!”
“First went when the store first opened a few months ago and was shocked how full the shelves were considering how empty other stores shelves are and the gentleman that owns the shop is extremely nice, helpful, and gets a lot of candy and snacks that I haven't seen in years! The items are reasonably priced with more items being put on shelves often.”
“We discovered Lore's delicious chocolates on our way to the Independence Library. Their shop is a block from the library and they were doing a free chocolate sampling. Their chocolates were the best we'd ever tasted! We bought both their butter creams and truffle assortments. We learned that Lore's is a family-owned business that's been in this location for over 50 years. They create these artisan chocolates onsite in a historic building and district. Their prices are very reasonable for the freshness and quality of the chocolates.”
“Lovely experience, great staff today with great suggestions and took care of us. Great selections as well to include unique items such as seasons and extracts with dried fruit. Will return!”
“This store has been around before I was a child, and been a staple in my family since! We do not get into Delco or Media,Pa often, but always happy to stop in when we do. Customer ahead of us was ordering for family who live the Great Lakes area! That is Tradition!”
“My telephone orders have always been handled in a friendly and efficient manner, frequently by Nancy herself. My favorites are the nonpareils, and the Daisy mints are a close second. Please try this wonderful company.”
“Customer service was outstanding and supportive and the candy was delicious. So fresh. We’ve had Swedish candy before and it was lackluster in flavor. Each type of Swedish candy we got was a burst of flavor. It was our first time visiting and it won’t be our last.”
“A awesome custom order was created with thoughtful details and attention to our wishes! Thank you Christopher and team for all you do. Appreciate your patience working with us to create these one of a kind gifts for our guests.”
“The address for this business, 1500 Market Street, is a bit misleading. I believe the only entrance (the one I used) is on 16th Street just south of Market Street. My first visit to this location, which seemed consistent with the other locations in terms of available products. As usual with this local chain of stores, they are a great resource, especially when it comes to the holiday baking. If you're outfitting your gingerbread house, this is the equivalent of Lowes or Home Depot. Competitive pricing on their dates and walnuts. Although I do wish they carried organic products as well. I found when getting home that one item I had bagged up was apparently left behind on the counter. Calling the store, I was assured that whether or not I had actually paid for it, the item would be held for me to pick up later. Note that they have a frequent shopper program, so I was able to take several dollars off my bill with the credit that had accumulated, and which I didn't even know about. Nice!”
“I just bought 4 bags of sunflower seeds, which I typically do from Nuts to You. The price is nice (all locations are not equal though) and they aren't super salty. They taste way better now too. I had stopped buying them cause the taste was not wonderful at all to my taste buds.”
“Absolutely delicious! You can tell they use authentic chocolate in everything. The hot chocolate is rich and deeply chocolaty (and very hot, but worth the wait!), and the bonbons are unique and flavorful. Can’t wait to return!”

“Having left the Philadelphia area years ago, I happened to be in town for business and thought I would stop by the store on Broad street. To my sadness it had closed. A few weeks later I found Lerro's candy on-line and reached out to find some additional information. Luckily they are still available without the store front. I inquired about an order and received a personal phone call from John the son, now owner that evening, what fond memories we had talking about the old times and the store on Broad street. The following day I had placed an order for myself being a half the country away and also for my parents now in South Jersey. It was a great surprise to them when the candy arrived and also to other family members that once they found out about the delivery they raided my mothers home to enjoy the candy. John was great to talk to and my order came as expected, I couldn't ask for more, well maybe another order for more candy. I would enclose a picture but between my family locally and grandchildren it has already disappeared.
John, thank you for bringing back many memories and I look forward to placing more orders in the future. The chocolate covered marshmallows were our favorite.
Thanks,
Ken”
“I ordered fudge from here for my wedding welcome bags (boardwalk themed!). It was so easy to communicate with Marilyn when ordering and picking up at Reading Terminal. So many people commented on how good the fudge was too!”
“Great experience picking up from here. Super helpful staff. For any trucks coming in to pick up, N MacDade Blvd is where you’ll want to come in on after following the 420 alt for trucks.”

“A good location with a decent amount of stock on display. Shop early because it's a popular store. My last visit was a bit aggravating since the cashier was talking a bit much and not focusing on the line building up in queue and everyone was getting aggravated. For some reason she was easily distracted by other issues around her and hard for her to focus on ringing a sale to completion without interruption. None of the self checkout registers were working unfortunately. Nonetheless, still one of my favorite stores.”
“I lived in Collingdale from 1956-2017 before I moved to Abington, PA. I visited Kelly’s Kandy & Nuts more times than I can count. Just loved this store. Today my step daughter dropped off a friend In Collingdale and called me to ask if while she was there was there anything she should see or stop by. My first response was your shop. She loved it. She was a little disappointed because some things she wanted were out of stock but she realized it was the holidays and understood. She lives in Eaglesville but said next time down there she is going to make sure she stops by again. I’m in the area more than she but told me when I am she will make a list of what she missed out on this time. The items she did buy she was more than happy and pleased. Your candy store is the best. I thank you for all the happy sweets I’ve had and will be visiting soon. ❤️”
