“ALDI has a very professional staff that is willing to help their customers with any questions with locations of items in the store. The store set up makes it easy to locate items but the isle signs could be a little better with more food options.”

“We visited the Italian Market on a Sunday morning in late November and we were surprised at how many people were outside on a cold morning getting their fresh food. You hear about "food deserts" in the middle of large cities, but this was exactly the opposite. There were heaps of fresh produce on the sidewalks, and the shops were filled with every kind of meat, fish, cheese or pasta. Don't visit on an empty stomach or you will walk away with hundreds of dollars of fantastic food. It is also a great place to eat solid Italian food at a variety of small restaurants.”

“This niche, unnoticeable small produce/ co-op or co-op like store offers fresh food. If it can go bad then it might be on discount or even free. Definitely a neighborhood store to help the community with some healthy food options potentially. I stuck out that the employee was wondering what I was doing at this venue until I said TooGoodToGo. I felt like I would've been a nuisance without this unexpected "carte blanche." In my goodies bag, I ended up with two cinnamon? Muffins, 1 or 2 corns, croissants, peach cups, carrots, mushrooms. Almost docked a star but the man was nice enough to take his time to pack me some goodies and then pointed me to the free table of things as well. A man on the side of the street was trying to say hi to me but I thought he was going to ask me for money. So I didn't reply. I knew that I was in a respectable neighborhood (Cobbs Creek) but I also know that I don't live here, I stick out, and it is Philadelphia proper. It felt awkward to look around inside the small store even though there were 10 min left. Everything seemed ready for closing up. I would've gotten there sooner but personal things came up. But I did still make it on time thankfully. I guess you could say, I really get around!”

“Couldn't find half the advertised items & 1 type of item (ex: bread) is in about 2-3 different places. Got a little better. I can find some stuff. Still like the one in Glenolden because it's organized better.”

“Strap in for a foodie rollercoaster because Reading Terminal Market just took my taste buds on a joyride! Picture this: a culinary wonderland where food dreams come true. The vibe is like a gastronomic carnival - stalls buzzing with flavors, aromas performing acrobatics, and every bite a ticket to taste-bud paradise. The staff here? Friendlier than a golden retriever at a belly rub convention. I embarked on a food safari, starting with a cheesesteak that was basically a sandwich symphony. The soft pretzels were like carb clouds, and don't even get me started on the donuts - they're basically rings of happiness! The variety is mind-blowing; I wandered from hoagies to dumplings, oysters to gyros, all within a culinary compass gone haywire. The Pennsylvania Dutch treats? It's like my taste buds took a history class and aced it. The only downside? Choosing is a Herculean task. But hey, indecision is a small price to pay for this food fiesta! If you haven't navigated this foodie Disneyland yet, you're missing out on a culinary carnival that makes everyday a food adventure. Reading Terminal Market, you've just won a permanent spot in my heart (and stomach)!”

“Great produce selection for a small shop. The premade salads, both veggie and fruit, are beautiful and packed to the gills, with multiple size options. Not much of anything other than fruit and veg, though.”

“I took a walk to MOM's from work because my local Giant and the Heirloom Giant on 8th and Market does not carry the Ezekiel Tortillas I was in need of. I knew MOM's was a little bit further and sold a lot of organic products, so I took a roll of the dice and won. MOM's is on the smaller side of the major chain supermarkets but still has a rather large selection of products. They've been in business since 1987 and have several stores up and down the east coast. All produce is certified organic, they have "banned" 250 ingredients from their stores, and they "take into account animal welfare, the environmental and social impact of products, and more." The store has a whole bulk section where you can fill your bag and pay for exactly what you need. They have a beauty section that all products are cruelty free and they give preference to organic and fair-trade products. They have tea leaves by the ounce. There's even a whole recycling area where you can drop off old sneakers, cork, denim, etc. and for the time being, Christmas lights! I found the layout to be simple and easy to navigate, clean and well lit, and a bit industrial as it is in a warehouse-like building. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Prices I felt overall were reasonable, if not on the high side. If you're conscious about how your products get to the supermarket and how they are made, MOM's takes a lot of that work away from you and you can rest assured that the products you buy here are usually going to be better than what you'll find elsewhere. You may not find all the brands you want or are used to, but someone made them a match for MOM's. Hopefully, you'll like that brand.”

“This place is great to get fruit and veggies in bulk for prices lower than the market! I usually chop and freeze most things for later, so they don't start to spoil. It's time consuming, but worth it in the end. They also have a nice selection of fresh flowers and plants.”

“Newer location. It's the nicer budget minded grocery store option along the busy commercial corridor. Similar to others store in the chain, the produce is fresh, grocery items diverse and a better value. Parking is good. Several self checkout lanes and one very efficient cashier.”

“My mother and I went to Aldi to save some money for Christmas Dinner because the whole family is coming coming over. My father fall and fractured his back no too no long ago. He'll be 87 t the end of the month And he thorughly enjoys they're precooked food and especially their snacks! Their freshness is unmatched to most stores I gone out to eat with my family.”

“Good food quality here. The prices are fair for the quality and things like the bread and the potato chip quality here are unbeatable. The cart system is also good because it prevents theft with the use of a quarter. Sometimes I forget a quarter though and have to have to ask the cashier for a quarter just to use the carts and it can be really annoying sometimes. There's also some homeless people around which can be a bummer”

“Perfect time to arrive between 1015 and 1030 on a Monday morning. Produce is fresh for they are just putting things out. Parking is perfect and everyone is just upbeat. “We come here weekly as it’s very close to us and the prices are very cheap! I have to agree with another comment as you can get a large bag of produce for around $20. The hoagies they make here are also pretty good as every now and again we like to pick one up for lunch. They try to keep the line moving as fast as they can as the store is pretty small and the line can form quickly.”

“I moved down the street from this place in the last month and I absolutely adore it. The people who work there are super nice and happy. It has a great community feel and the other customers seem to know everyone who works there. The deli in the back is amazing - I get the breakfast sandwiches almost daily and their cheesesteak is low key one of the best around. Love love love”
