“Absolutely pleasant staff !
Everyone we came in contact with was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our pet (Ce’ Ce’) spent 3 nights at VEG and made steady progress each day while under their care. It was extremely obvious that taking care of animals was their passion. I was fortunate enough to visit twice a day and each time I stopped by someone gave me an update on her progress ! We couldn’t be more pleased with the care and Love that was given to our special little Ce’ Ce’ ?”

“What can I say? I wish we could all pass on while lying on our beds on the porch, in the full sunshine and surrounded by family, with a belly full of Reese's peanut butter cups. This was the best money ever spent. Dr. Aronson was so kind, respectful, and really listened. She let us set the pace and explained what was going to happen, both in advance and as it went on, and made sensitive suggestions throughout and giving us space as needed. After she left, she followed up with a poem based on the stories we told her about my dog, along with a nose print that she took of him. Being able to say goodbye to your dog on your own time and in a stress-free setting of your choosing is the greatest gift. I'm so grateful we had this option and I'm so glad we had Dr. Aronson there to help.”
“First took our 6 year old cat here a few months ago for an illness visit after deciding to switch vets from a vet we were previously seeing in New Jersey. From the moment we walked in we knew immediately he was in good hands and have then decided to take the rest of our cats here as well.
The staff here are friendly, patient with both humans and animals & very knowledgeable. In both times we have been to the Fishtown office; I have had no doubt about the care our cats have received, have left the office feeling like any concerns or questions I have had were heard and answered and that our cats were well taken care of.

“Providence Animal Hospital, and especially Michelle from Providence, are the BEST! I’m out of the country and my dog was taken to VEG in Philadelphia… I called Michelle and providence to get their opinion on my dog’s condition, and she was the nicest person and did everything she could to help figure out the best plan of care for my dog. It meant so much to me that Michelle genuinely cared that much about my dog and did everything she could to help, unlike some of the people at VEG. Not even kidding, Michelle’s bosses should triple her salary and give her a 3 month paid vacation… SHE IS THE BEST!!!”
“Newtown Square Veterinary Hospital treats me and my two Yorkies Marcel & Miso like family. My boys love coming here and getting attention from all of the staff. They are knowledgeable, informative, and true animal lovers. The wait is never bad. We always get seen on time. The rooms are always clean and pretty spacious. My questions and concerns are always answered carefully and throughly. My pets never return fearful because they are so gentle with them. They quickly get records over to me when I need to send them to other places. They are slightly more expensive than others in the area but the quality of care is unmatched! I’m lucky they are so close to me because finding a good vet can be a nightmare. Having them on my side makes me a much better pet owner.”
“Everyone here is super personable and informative. Dr. Knighton and the Tech that checked out Fred, my 10 week old street urchin, were super gentle with him. They gave me a clear overview of what to expect for upcoming visits. They also used treats to help Fred be calm while he received care.
I also really appreciated that the front desk staff is able to give you a ballpark quote for the cost of the visit. There's nothing like being blindsided with fees.
I called around to a few places before picking City Cat Vets. Their pricing seems very fair in comparison.
I totally recommend them if you've got a kitty. The office is dog free. The space is super calm and quiet. The staff are A+ from the first phone call with the front desk to the visit itself.”
“I have been taking my pup there since we got her at 12 weeks of age. Everybody there has been amazing from front desk to the vet, Dr Flasik. I probably called them dozens time for any worries that I have about my pups They are very quick to respond for all my concerns. They’re very friendly and kind to our pup that make her always happy to go see them.

“Dr. Kwon just blew my mind with his vet skills. I have never seen my dog act so calm at a vet before. As soon as Dr Kwon came into the room, he sat on the floor to greet my dog. He spent a lot of time explaining everything to me and then did NOT try to nickle and dime me at the end like my last vet did.
All around a great place to go with a super friendly staff.”

“My cat is not a patient at Just For Cats, but they were so incredibly helpful to me and my cat when I was desperately searching for a bag of her special diet food. My cat’s food at her regular vet was out of stock, my delivery order of her food was delayed, and my cat was running out of food. I called and emailed dozens of vets in the Philly/Greater Philly area, and Just For Cats was the only one willing and able to help me and my cat, even though she is not a patient with them. Without their help, my cat would’ve run out of her special diet food and I would’ve been at a loss for what to do. I am so grateful for their help, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and compassionate practice for their cat.”

“When I was a kid, I grew up in farm country - the idea that we would take our dog to get physical therapy would have gotten me laughed out of the state. But it exists, and if your furry family member needs it, this is the place to go. Definitely a Total Wellness center - our dog's life is going to be so much improved after using WAG. I'm kind of oversimplifying it, but they are really knowledgeable about all aspects of what your pet needs, from the aforementioned physical therapy to proper medications or surgery, to both home treatments and in gym exercises. And they are very aware and glad to discuss the costs which is wonderful in Any medical situation. A top-notch staff and facility- highly recommend it!”

I took her to another vet who had zero compassion and my friend recommended The Cat Hospital of Media. Dr. Yolanda Revilla is so wonderful, informative and compassionate. I had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life and Dr. Revilla and the staff were all so terrific. I really want to thank them for truly caring and loving my precious girl. Dr. Revilla sent me a card and today I opened the mail to receive a beautiful watercolor painting from the hospital in honor of my little girl. Thank you all so much. “The staff at wissahickon have been amazing dealing with me and my helicopter pet mom ways! My cat, Romeo would probably not bring alive if it wasn't for Dr. Yard's suggestion to go the Metropolitan Veterinary for his IBD. Romeo is currently dealing with a respiratory infection and arthritis and the doctors and staff have been so patient with me emailing them almost every day.

Reservations tend be available a month or so later when you call, so plan ahead and book early.”
