On Sept. 12, 2023, at the suggestion of a friend, I took my VERY clean 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe to Interstate for a random miss. It wouldn't happen every day but for the past 20,000 miles, I had been dealing with it. It was getting worse and I wanted to have it checked out. I had replaced all the regular suspected items that would cause this condition (plugs, wires, fuel filter, distributor, fuel injection unit, etc). My regular mechanic is busy and tracking down a condition such as this could be very time consuming. I was advised there are some real "Chevrolet Gurus" at the Colmar shop. Interstate took the job and checked out the Tahoe. They found a bad spark plug wire (odd for a replacement set of GM wires but OK, replace them). Next, they found a cracked plug (it happens, replace them too). They road tested the Tahoe and said it still had a random miss but they were looking for the issue. They reportedly did a leak down test which showed a weak cylinder. They took it out for another road test and the motor blew. They theorized that a valve stuck open and damaged a piston. They put a camera down the cylinder and confirmed the damaged part. There's no way to prove anyone did anything "malicious" and I'm not accusing anyone of such but it seems VERY suspicious that my vehicle went in for a random miss and the motor just "happened" to blow up. What happened prior to the motor failing? How was it driven? Questions that will never be answered. As stated above, I've been experiencing this problem for approximately 20,000 miles and have the repair receipts to prove it. It didn't blow up when I drove it over those miles. They in no way accepted liability for this incident. No apologies and no discussion about trying to work out a solution. They simply said it was an "unfortunate situation". They quoted $6,400 to replace the engine.I understand things happen but this whole situation was handled in an unprofessional way. I sent a flatbed truck to pick up my Tahoe. This is the first time it had to be towed in the 18 years I've owned it. It was transported to my regular mechanic who will replace the motor and do it correctly. At this point, I wouldn't buy a quart of oil from this place. BE CAREFUL. If something goes wrong with your car while they have it, it'll be on you. I rated them at 1 star because I couldn't rate them a zero. Below is a picture of the Tahoe the Chevrolet Gurus "serviced".Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This company is full of scam artist. We ordered service up in the PA area on July 25, 2023. The person that came out was unsure of what he was doing but told our driver that the batteries were leaking and needed to be replaced. Their driver went and purchased the batteries. We Zelle'd payment for the batteries only for him to return with the wrong batteries. Not only that he took our old batteries and never returned them. When I called the next day to find out about the refund process, we were told the driver was on vacation and upon his return he would return the batteries and get the money back at which time they would refund us. I waited 2 weeks before following up again. At that point we were told that the person that needed to process the refund was on vacation and it wasn't done but I was assured that it would be taken care of. I followed up a week later and was told that the person had death in their family and that was the reason for the delay. From that point on I've called multiple times, received numerous promises that the issue would be resolved and yet here we are still getting the run around. I do not leaving bad reviews for companies but I admonish anyone that comes across this company's website to RUN and RUN FAST away from these people. They don't do good business, they lie and as of today's date 09/11/2023 I'm still fighting them to get our refund. If I could give them a negative 50 stars I would. At this point this is BEYOND ridiculous and unprofessional. My next stop is to contact the Better Business Bureau to log a complaint with them as well.Service: Battery

Excellent professional service. Tech arrived less than 45 mins after call out. He was friendly, accommodating, worked quickly, and had my rig fixed properly. Fair pricing and stuck to their original quote even though the air line replacement was a little bit more in-depth than originally planned. Highly recommend.

This is the best place to take any vehicle. I found them through my fleet company. My 2019 Edge just randomly started overheating. They brought me right in and fixed the issue. I brought my sons car back. When you call almost any repair shop they won’t tell you they can get you in right away. This place did. They send you photos of the issues via text right away. This place is great. Lisa in the office is so nice too. Best experience I’ve had at an auto repair place. Pricing is great too. Highly recommend this place.Services: Vehicle Inspection

I had my Jeep towed to the closest place as tow guy was nailing me for 5 bucks a mile. I have dealt with Interstate once before and thought they were a fair company. So, I get the call that my Jeep repairs would cost around $550 for the new steering pump, labor and fluid. The manager tells me that includes a new belt, I tell him I have the belt in passenger seat. He cons me that its unusable, but he will check it out. I ask him about the antifreeze that was spuing out of the engine when I broke down. The manager tells me I must be mistaken the antifreeze for power steering fluid, and I say NO it was leaking A freeze he said he would look into it. So, I get the call for the damages and its $685! He charged me 185 f****** dollars that included replacing a hose, 2 clamps, and for the antifreeze. The best part is he used my old belt and still nailed me for $135. Mr Salesman didn't bend even after I called him out and was utterly displeased with the outcome.

I made an appointment 9 days ago to have three trucks serviced at my location . The appointment was at 6am on Thursday. I called Wednesday afternoon to confirm the appointment , the customer service rep. Confirmed.I had my employees there at 6am two hours before their scheduled work time. Knowone showed up from Interstate. I called the customer service number at 615am. The lady informed me she had just got there to start her shift she said she didn't know who to send the appointment to because the nearest tech. Was over 150 miles away. I told her the appointment was made over a week ago and I had confirmed the day begore. She put me on hold to call her supervisor, after holding several minutes she came back on the line and said they did not service out area which is 40 miles north of Atlanta G .Terrible customer service that is not professional.......

I recently purchased a car from here and my experience was nothing but amazing! I was contacted, by Aly, the same day I had emailed them interested in the car. Within a week the car was mine! It was my first time buying a car and they made the experience easy. Nick was also awesome! He helped with all of my paperwork and answered all of my questions. Aly even noticed a little bit of paint was chipped and had it fixed before I picked up the car, no charge! Overall they are good people who want you to have a great experience and I highly recommend. We will be back in the future!
