Chickies Rock County Park is a beautiful outdoor area known for its stunning overlook and scenic trails. Visitors can enjoy a short, easy hike of about 10 minutes from the parking lot to reach the breathtaking view of the Susquehanna River. The overlook offers a great scenery that can be appreciated even with limited time. The trails are well-marked, with options to go straight on a flat pathway or turn right onto a trail with some up and down hills, making the hike manageable for people of all ages, including elderly visitors and families. The park features a day use area that is dog-friendly, though visitors should note that there are no trash bins for dog waste. The trails are suitable for those seeking a calming walk or a quick adventure, and the views from the overlook are often described as exceeding expectations. While the terrain is not wheelchair accessible, it remains an excellent spot for a short, pleasant hike and enjoying nature’s beauty. Overall, Chickies Rock County Park offers a great experience for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and dog owners alike.
Love this trail. Went there for the first time in the dead of winter and fell in love. Such a huge payoff at the top!

Love this spot👌🏻 Peaceful and not too long. It walks along the water and meets at the bridge.

This is a beautiful park that we don’t get to enough, but found time to visit twice in the last month! I definitely recommend the overlook trail since it’s a great view that can be enjoyed with only a short time to visit. My brother loves the day use area if you have a furry friend with you.
