Oh yeah, another beautiful park in Lancaster County, AMIRIGHT?Very cool place. Nice walking/bike paths and a great yard just to sit in and relax. They have a really cool "welcome" center, a nice Pavillion, and a bike repair station. There's a spot to rent kayaks. You can even rent a ride up stream, they'll drop you off, and it's a very leisurely paddle back down the susquehanna to the park. The welcome center has a ton of history about the Columbia area including the bridge across the susquehanna that was set on fire to stop the advancement of the Confederate army, a lot of underground railroad info and even coal dredging of the susquehanna river. (Really, it's true, you'll have to stop in a find out why.)

This is a visitors center next to Columbia (PA) Water Company. The location is next to the Susquehanna River and a historic highway Bridge. This is also the eastern start point of the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail, a scenic 14 mile multi use paved trail running along the river. Several sites along the way, the most popular being the "White Cliffs of Canoy".

I have had lots of fun here and have had great conversations. Clean restrooms, water fountain. Historical information is great inside. There is a really cool snapping turtle taxidermy. Kids can get up close to see it really well. Boat ramps and benches. I have been here when the river freezes too. Beautiful views with the bride in the background.

A nice welcome center with a lot of good information on the river, the trails, and other interests. Has a meeting room. Also has a nice deck offering an excellent view of the river. Has restrooms that are also handy if you are in the river park and/ or the nearby trails.

New favorite close to home for a stroll on the trail or try my luck fishing, it's nice that you can bike or put your boat on the water from here.Sunset looks beautiful from here, I will definitely be coming back as time allows and perhaps try the bike trail of course I'll need a bike and will possibly be renting one from the shack on the premises while I repair mine.

Nice large public boat launch. When weather is nice parking can be tricky. If you don't have a boat stay out of the trailer parking spots.

I can't love this place more! The views, the peace that you feel in between all city and traffic. Beautiful sunsets.

Very nice place. We were there to checkout the bike trail and found it had a great view from the back patio of the river. Can't wait to do the trial.

So beautiful. We sat on their deck in the rocking chairs for awhile. I was hoping the trail along the river was longer so that was disappointing. But if you ever want to sit by the water and just recharge this is a perfect place.

The material available was great, the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff was exemplary and then at the back this great view with the balcony having picnic tables for family or just sit relax in rocking chairs, could just live here!

Good biking trail, mostly paved, but really rough for the short section that is not paved. Parked at the visitor center, very nice clean rest rooms. The very beginning of the trail is in town, and from the visitor center you need to cross a busy road twice. There are a few spots where roots under the trail make it quite rough but for the most part the trail is in pretty good shape. From Bainbridge (at mile marker 11 ) the trail was in need of maintenance, there were waist to shoulder high weeds falling into the trail. Note that other sections of the trail had the areas beside the trail mowed 4 to 6 feet wide. The township that is responsible should be ashamed of themselves. Good news, the tall weeds along the trail from mile marker 11 to 14 were cut.
