Very nice place. Clean with an amazing view. Sorta waterfront, but not water access. Nice firepit and outside sitting area. Bathroom doors do not lock, which can be akward.

This place is lovely and so tranquil. It is challenging to find availability; you can't really be spontaneous and have to think ahead. It's perfect for a family. Near town. Complete kitchen. A room with a king bed and bathroom and then a smaller room with two twin beds and a huge loft area with a queen bed. The deck and bridge to the campfire area can get slippery after a big rain or snow, but they've done a beautiful job with creating outdoor space to enjoy your time. None of the outdoor spaces are covered unless you want to sit in a smaller space under the deck, but that's not nearly as nice. It's a great little getaway cabin!

I enjoyed my stay here with my family. The place was clean and welcoming. Felt like home away from home. The outdoor fire pit and hot tub were great additions. The bedrooms were spacious and clean! I would recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. This is also pet friendly, we got to enjoy our trip with our little pup!

Our family of four really enjoyed our off-season stay here. The house itself is gorgeous and well maintained. In view of houses & park across the Yough River, but still very quiet & private. We enjoyed everything: the porch, hot tub, outdoor fire pit, and the WiFi was better than our own home! After finishing a morning of work/school on the computers, we hiked and biked on nearby trails, got takeout and groceries 5 minutes away in Confluence, and drove to local attractions like Mount Davis, Fallingwater, and Fort Necessity. Even though most tourist businesses were closed in March, there was still plenty to do for the whole family. It is a rural, small town area so everything closes early but that's normal for us. We look forward to coming back for white water rafting and more in the summer.

My husband and I have been to the Yough Treehouse three times and every time, it was the perfect vacation getaway for us. If you are into experiencing the great outdoors and taking a break from the dog eat dog world, this place is ideal. It's right off the beaten path and tucked away from everything else, but close enough to the local stores if you need anything. There is a bike rental at the road entrance if you feel like riding on the miles of trails and enjoying nature. And if you feel more adventurous, Ohio Pyle is a mere 10 mile drive away where you can go hiking and rafting. Also, for a small fee, you can take mans best friend with you. And at the end of the day, you can simply relax at the rental, or melt away the stress in the hot tub on the patio. Or you can fix dinner and enjoy it on the deck overlooking the river. We can't say enough about the Yough Treehouse! Every time we go we don't want to come home! We can't wait to go back!As for the review stating that the mattresses were uncomfortable, they couldn't be farther from the truth! And the cleanliness is immaculate.

Don't know what tree house is. I'm fishing tough River and it's cold, but thanks to the people who keep the bathroom heated and clean at the tough outflow that's awesome

I stayed here this summer with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. There are tons of outdoor activities right out your the front door and the home is beautiful! It was super clean, it has any amenities you could ever want and the deck and hot tub had amazing views. Not to mention, the owners are super sweet and go above and beyond to make their guests happy. In short, if you come to the laurel highlands, stay at the tree house!
