This bank's student loan department is is the mpst fraudulent company I have ever dealt with. For instance, they make multiple silly excuses to not allow me to pay off the nearly 17% interest student loan and then finally customer service told me that I signed a contract that only allows me to pay it off slowly over long periods of time, which means they get huge profits in interests. Plus, their advertisements make you think that the loan is low interest rate with logos that make it appear like they are affiliated with the US Dept. of Education

I closed my first loan with Firstrust today and they did a fantastic job throughout the process. Super smooth. Highly recommend!

i went in there and immediately felt uncomfortable the employees didn’t give me little to no help and i just never felt comfortable , i left just after a couple minutes being in there because of the service . i expected better

I talked with Cyle on the phone prior to my scheduled visit. He was very knowledgeable about loans and helped me incredibly. Have to reschedule my visit but TY for the great new perspective.

Not too satisfied.I needed to discuss regarding home equity loan and home equity line of credit. The representative assisting me was not very knowledgeable.

Definitely not happy with Firstrust Bank as a Mortgage company. I would recommend you to find a mortgage elsewhere. A couple of reasons. First, they failed to pay my home insurance for about 6 months, even though the money was already escrowed. Second, they failed to pay my taxes, even though the money was already escrowed. Both times, I had to follow up with them. What is the point of an escrow if the bank that owns it fails to pay your dues with it? It is truly disappointing. Please look for another bank to issue your mortgage or to refinance.

First, they failed to pay my home insurance for about 6 months, even though the money was already escrowed. Second, they failed to pay my taxes, even though the money was already escrowed. Both times, I had to follow up with them. What is the point of an escrow if the bank that owns it fails to pay your dues with it? It is truly disappointing. Please look for another bank to issue your mortgage or to refinance.

I have been after this bank for over a year for an outstanding balance. They have owed me almost 3000.00 dollars for about 14 months and will not resolve. Another bank bought my mortgage yet first trust still took payment from my account. Been trying to resolve with no luck every time I call it’s 40 mins on hold and then they just tell you what you want to hear. I no have had to pay my attorney to pursue the funds. Patrick hasher is the most disrespectful, rude, and ignorant bank employee I have ever met. Expect better treatment from a minimum wage worker. Do yourself a favor and if you're not going to go to a different bank, at least go to a different branch.

We went to the Whitemarsh branch on Friday May 8 2020 around 12:30 . T he gentleman we first encountered was pleasant everything took a bad turn when a blond woman got involved... she was extremely rude and condescending . We were treated like dirt. She refused to help us even after speaking with the business who wrote the check we were attempting to cash. The check was from their bank. I believe she was rude due to the color of our skin. In my entire life never have I been treated with such hateful and rude behavior. She was the absolute worst. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone .
