“A Soul-Restoring Getaway That Exceeded Every Expectation

We drove nearly six hours for the Memorial Day Weekend Suite Package and every mile was worth it. We arrived about four hours late for check-in and the team, shoutout to Rachel, Brianna, and the entire hospitality crew, waited for us and greeted us with genuine warmth and bright smiles. That set the tone for everything.

Our Fireside King Suite with the hot tub was warm, romantic, and immaculate. We checked all the usual spots, the closet, under the bed, the mattress, spotless every time. The staff had staged our roses and champagne as a beautiful focal point in the room. Pure intention. The Coffee Delivery with Keepsake Mugs was a perfect morning touch.

The grounds and scenery were exactly the reset we needed, quiet, breathtaking, and deeply peaceful. It rained most of the weekend and honestly it only made things better. The smells, the sounds of the forest, the mist through the trees, absolutely cinematic.

The restaurant was a standout on its own. The food was exceptional and the staffs knowledge of the wines and beers was genuinely impressive, passionate and not scripted. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and the kind of place you never want to leave.

This place was curated to help people heal and fall back in love and it absolutely did that for us. We are making this our yearly ritual. Thank you Gateway Lodge for an unforgettable weekend. 🌹🍷🌲”
