CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! We took our vehicle to get a transmission put in it that we had bought somewhere else, so we knew that they would not guarantee the transmission, but they did guarantee their work.
When we took the car in, the transmission had stopped working, but there were no lights on the dashboard. When we picked the car up, after they put the transmission in, we were made aware that the dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree with all kinds of codes, that were not there when we took it in. The owner claimed that the car needed to be reprogrammed to recognize the transmission and get rid of those codes, but the car was driving and shifting perfectly fine, so we knew it recognized the transmission that was put in it. We took it to another dealer for a second opinion , which they hooked up to their programmer, but nothing came up wrong in the car. So, they said that it had to do with the transmission shop and a mistake they made possibly with breaking something on the car.
We got a third opinion from another dealer, who said the same thing. We called the transmission place back and made an appointment for the Tuesday after Christmas to have it reprogrammed to see if that got rid of the codes but, on the way to visit my mom in New York, my cars transmission malfunctioned and spit transmission fluid all over the turnpike. We had to have it towed and we took it back to the garage to get fixed.
To make a very long and frustrating story short, they had to replace the clock spring in the steering wheel because they turned it when the transmission was unhooked but denied that that was the problem. The owner covered the cost of that, which he made to sound like he was a hero to do it even tho it was because his shop broke it ??♀️??♀️ I had to rent a car that was over $600 because of a mistake their shop made and they refused to make it right! When we picked up our car the first time, we pulled it into our garage because it was dark outside, and took a look at it to discover that there was a dent from the inside of the engine cavity going out on my fender. My husband contacted the owner immediately, who told us to get an estimate, but we never got that far because the car stopped working again.
My car came back, smelling like cigarette smoke, and we had to have it professionally clean to get the smell out and I see there are many other complaints on this Google page for that.
Do you research before taking it to the shop because they do not care about the consumer all they care about is lining their pockets. For a shop that says they guarantee their work, certainly doesn’t go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy and that they take care of the mistakes there Shop made!

Brought my truck for a quote. I learned nothing I didn’t already know and left with it wreaking of cigarette smoke to the point where I had to roll down my windows while driving home or my daughter would gag and it was 35° outside. Why would you ever smoke so much in a customers vehicle to the point where the smell lingers for a week. Never going back.

Very pleased with the service received. Had state inspection, brakes, rotors completed and they fully explained two additional problems. We were kept well informed about any concerns related to our Sedona. All pricing was explained to us in detail. Would definitely recommend.

The people at Bob's did a great job. Replaced the transmission on my Impala remanufactured and with a warranty for a little more than another garage was going to charge me for a used one with over 100k. I would definitely use them again, although I hope I never have to.

My brother had new used car purchased and this place was unhelpful in locating a transmission and delayed returning calls. Car sat there for a month without being worked on (but sat dismantled ) and with unsuccessful location of used or rebuilt tranny still sat...Long story short- they charged over 1000. For storage of the vehicle... I guess, as no work was done on the car..however they did try to help sell the car for parts! Deceitful business?Hungry for money? Sad story.
