I honestly will drive the extra 5-10 minutes to go to the Hellertown store. I find the selection to be less than the other stores in the area and most importantly, the seafood counter is bare bones. Our family eats a lot of fish and at this store options seem very, very limited. At this point we exclusively do out seafood shopping either at the seafood stall at the Quakertown Farmers Market or at Wegmans.

The thing about Coopersburg, a place I have lived nearby for almost 20 years now, is that you don't have many options for retail stores. It's a nice, small town but you'll be hard-pressed to find many popular shopping destinations, for better or worse. Basically, you'll often be heading over to Quakertown for most of what you need. I truly think the only reason people shop at this Giant is convenience. With the Weis gone (which closed I believe around five years ago?), they have a "monopoly" on grocery stores. This is probably one of the reasons why they think they don't have to keep their store clean or have competitive prices like Lidl, Aldi, or Wegman's. Even Walmart is better because at least their prices are low and I can get everything I need there. Other than the summer workers, staff is not very friendly. I can't blame them; I hope they can at least work somewhere as prestigious as a ShopRite one day.

Having seen the two reviews , I thought I should add my observation. In general this Giant is well stocked and the prices are competitive. The produce section is actually very good. The deli staff is friendly and helpful when I'm trying to figure out exactly what product best suits my need. I find staff friendly and helpful when I ask for help or directions. Checkout staff are not particularly friendly but they do answer questions etc and all things considered I guess I can't find issue with that. I have never encountered a rude staff person. The only issue I've ever had is a complete reluctance to get an item out of a produce box or unpack an item that the staff admits they have in back. Numerous times I've been told come back later- doesn't really work for me with limited trips. Other than that I have been satisfied with this Giant since we got past the first flush of the pandemic.

Today I encountered one of the rudest check out associates I have ever come across, Mary. As soon as I began putting groceries on the belt, she addressed me with a horrible attitude. Mary, get a new attitude or go home!!!!

Cashiers need better training. Problem on your line? Call a manager, don't just stand there telling customer, sorry, there's nothing I can do. How about call your superior for guidance. As a customer I shouldn't have to tell the cashier that.
